This video takes place at some ambiguous point post chapter 2, pre chapter whatever.
Realistically there will be a lot of things in the upcoming chapters that will cause this video to not make a lot of sense, but that's okay! I hope you can enjoy it for what it is, even if what it is doesn't make much sense, hehe.

This is *perfection* at it's finest. Every character feels accurate, Queen's dialogue is fucking perfect, every scene feels like it has a purpose. This is genuinely in the top three of fan animations I've ever watched, and those are all tied for number one. Honestly, this can be defined as a perfect fan animation.

One thing I want to give props to is how interconnected everything was. Every event had some sort of purpose to it, and didn't felt like it was just there to padden out the video. For example: Queen going to the roof was brought back by Lancer near the end to explain about how shes coping staying at Castle Town (i'd even argue that the butler scene near the beginning was also some sort of foreshadowing) Most videos and stories that use the troupe of "main characters take a day off from adventuring normally" are really interesting bcz some things just felt empty and lifeless, so the fact that ur work DIDN'T fall prey to this is an achievement in of itself.

In each of the corners of the dark world's text box there are 4 pixels that slowly change colour. No one would EVER have noticed, but I spent nearly 2 hours adding these 4 small little guys. I hope you all appreciate them, they are very sparkly :) I even gave them names! Going clockwise and starting on the top left, they are "Stacy" "Frank" "Fortuin cookie" and "Robbin Mellow". This video is so well written oh my god!!!! From the awkward silence from the basement, to Ralsei with Susie with the Gramophone, it's all just so brimming with personality!!!!! And also very well animated too, felt pretty much alive and in line with what Toby Fox would do. holy mother of god. i don't think words can describe how amazing this is. but i'll.... try, i guess?? it's just... SO well made?! the text noises, the music, the writing... it all felt STRAIGHT outta the game!! it's CRAZY, the characters feel so...!! IN-CHARACTER!! that is EXCEEDINGLY rare in fan-content, ESPECIALLY in THIS fandom! not that that's a BAD thing, just that you don't see it very often! and this leads into the next thing i want to say! see, i have a bit of a weird brain... i LOVE So Many Things, but i don't love them in the same way Most Other People Do. i don't understand AUs, or Shipping, and i'm not Nearly creative enough for too many Headcanons, and ESPECIALLY not Theories. while i don't take Issue with any of these, it is unfortunately the case that my lack of Understanding and Connection to them preeetty much locks me out of enjoying Any And All Fandom Content. this, though... this scratches that itch SO BAD!! or, uh, "Good"...?! perhaps even better than ANYTHING ELSE I'VE EVER SEEN. in ANY fandom! it's just so true! so full of PERSONALITY and FUN! and that's Another big thing, for me... this has a Plot with Character Development and Serious Moments, but you NEVER forget that Deltarune is chock full of comedy! it all blends together in an Amazingly Lighthearted and Fun experience! and, to get a bit specific, i absolutely LOVE how you wrote Queen in this. she's probably my Absolute Favorite Character in Either Chapter so far (sorry, Spamton), and to see every facet of her personality on full-display - her absurd antics, her hidden depths - it brings me SO much Genuine Joy. really. i'm really glad you kept the focus on her Ridiculousness, and showed her Deeper Personality in a More Nuanced Way. it feels more Realistic for her character, as well as more faithful to how it'd probably be in Deltarune. the base plot is also just... so fitting, and so, so sweet. it really warms my heart just seeing everybody hang out together and be buddies, and seeing Ralsei learn to overcome his Insecurities through The Power Of Friendship. AH. and i also wanted to call attention to the Fantastic Pacing, use of Music (again), and the fact that the Grammar is actually nigh-perfect! thank you for having made this. seriously. you've brought so much joy to me, and i'm sure MANY others. i'll continue to watch this video for a long time to come.

This was amazing! Susie and Ralsei interacting own their own is so wholesome. My biggest gripe with the Deltarune fandom is that Kris is usually the central focus of everything, and given that they don't really have a lot of personality, their presence kills interactions like Susie and Ralsei talking. But with Kris out of the picture, you've eliminated that problem entirely! You've earned a sub from me.

Hello! Sorry if this comes off as out of place, but I wanted to share my thoughts about why Ralsei is afraid of the dark! Ralsei has spent presumably his entire existence in a dark damp musky castle. I feel like darkness itself represents all those lonely feelings for him. Spending years under crushing loneliness, staring into darkness, praying for something, anything to change. The dark would be a constant reminder of just how empty his existence is. Him being "The prince of dark" is very poetic to me.

I love this so much... Between everyone being completely in character, Queen bouncing the fresh and fragrant egg boy against the wall, even the use of the National Park theme from HgSs. I only recognised it because I heard it in passing the other day. I guess I never remembered it because I probably heard the piano at the start as a kid and instantly thought "Nope, sounds too sad", but it's such a nice vibe. I thought at first it was from gen 5 because of the percussion. Either way, great video! It must've had a lot of work put into it!
