sure, just pick a bit longer ones, like 99cm long model and longer, + wider shape helps

These should be available as rentals for beginners looking to have fun for a few days. So much easier than regular length skis and you truly don’t need more ski for groomed runs. I love that you are exposing the lie that you need long skis.

I independently teach friends, family and acquaintences to ski on skiboards/snowblades, the learning curve from wedge to carve is literally 10 minutes and the rest of the day we are wreaking havoc all over the mountain!

Shorter is always better for park fun, whether on skis or snowboards (I'm "supposed" to ride a 163+ length snowboard, but I rarely ever rode above a 155-157 because I love 'em squirrel-y)...Looking forward to getting a pair of these little speed demons to see if there's yet another way I can injure myself on snow. Can't wait!

ive tried regular ski's and was terrible at it. Back in the late 90's and early 2000' i was big into aggressive inline. I imagine these things are similar? what would you recommend? I was trash at regular long ski's

If you prefer a skating experience on the snow, skiskates (44 cm) or skiboards 65 cm would be the best for you 😉
@chucknoob7041 Жыл бұрын
I would suggest the 90 or 99 cm. Super easy and will have a little more flex over bumps. I learned with cheap 90cm and just this year moved to 110cm to help smooth the terrain. I sucked big time at skiing but these made it so easy. I used non-release bindings for a few years on my 90cm with no problem. They are nice because they are light but I was always worried about injuries.
@Red1676 Жыл бұрын
Go with twin tips, it's closer to roller blading and more forgiving. If you can't ride twintips, you can't rollerblade.

Does anyone here have a preference using ski boots with bindings or snowboard boots with snowboard (soft boot) bindings? I need help understanding which is best for an intermediate level skier. Thanks.
@snowfeetteam89412 жыл бұрын
Snowboard boot bindings are better because the snowboard boots are more comfortable, your feet don't hurt like hell, you can walk like easily from the parking lot or in the restaurant, staris... The riding experience could be a bit different for everybody, but in general snowboard boots give you more flexibility and freedom of movement whereas ski boots give you a bit more strength in turns and high speed, but if you're not racing, you really don't need that. So for recreational use, I personally definitely prefer snowboard boots.
@gavinhalm3016 Жыл бұрын
I'm going to wager that because with these little rockets you're tending to move your lower legs+feet around a lot more at different angles, or more abruptly in order to initiate turns, and therefore turning more frequently, etc, that the stiffness of ski boots would cause them to be considerably more uncomfortable; whereas the materials used for SB boots would make for a more comfortable experience (more elastic)...BUT, as the Snowfeet Team mentioned, at higher speeds the hard boots are where it's at for stability...I guess it depends on what kind of "mini skiing" you want to do: High speed down hill and big carving? Go ski boots. Lots of tricks and messing around hopping features and doing spins ,etc? Go SB boots.

I saw other snowboard binding has a third strap at shin, but snowfeet brand has no such strap. Is it necessary?
@snowfeetteam8941 Жыл бұрын
Great question :) No, it's not, you get enough ankle support thanks to the snowboard boot itself, and 2 straps are enough for a secure attachment.
