In the late 90's early 2000's Lake Tahoe area. We used to call home made versions of these hot dog skis. It's super cool that someone has designed a nice commercially available version. Snow feet are a good name.

Best ice hockey best part of my life, so think i owild pick it up fairly quickly. My concern/question to anyone out there with experience on these, is...are they safe to use on black slopes and or slopes in general that may be partly icy die to wind for example? I..e do they provide enough grip to tackle steep slopes safety? Thanks to anyone who may provide some insight

Do they work in powder?

I think probably not because you’re not distributing your mass/going to sink

Do you have to be an advanced skier to be able to master the snowfeet? 🤔

It is important to wear a pair of proper snowboard boot/skiboot. I learnt this after many falls and finally make it work with a pair of new snowboard boot. Hope to see more skiskaters on slope=) kzbin.infosnw5aGSaY88?si=bkgFeP54mOYByG1r

If you look well, you'll see that at 0:08 the guy is holding a pair of Snowfeet Pro model with a twin directional design, and on the rest of the clip it is Skiskates which are with standard one directional design. Couple days ago I bought Snowfeet Pro 50 cm model, and can't wait to get them and test on the snow. ⛷
