We do all the Canadian hot springs in the winter. It's the best experience. And the deeper into the bush, the more interesting the people and conversations. Also in Canada everyone in the wild springs is pretty much sans clothes. And you see no trash.

@@JonConti It was wonderful! The owners (The Harris family) let us rebuild one of the cabins (Long Tom) featured in your video in lieu of rent. Every day was an adventure! I loved your video!

Just went on Saturday and it was incredible. They open at 10 am, be there early to avoid the crowds!
@JonConti4 жыл бұрын
O that's great! I bet a Saturday can get pretty busy up there. Also if you stay the night you can soak any hour, and if you stay on Monday night, they are closed to everyone except lodging guests on Tuesday.

What is the price range for this trip I am from Northern idaho
@JonConti4 жыл бұрын
robert richards it depends on what you do. If you and another person rent a two person sled, ride out for the day, soak and come back your looking at around $200. If rent one sled, and stay overnight your around $450 and if you rent multiple sleds and stay overnight your gonna get up into $600-$700. My tip is this. McCall is a small town, the people are great, and everything is negotiable. If you called cheap thrills and chatted about a possible deal for an overnight rental I’m sure Peggy the owner would be accommodating on their slower days. Same with Carol at Burgdorf. Picking up the phone and just asking has gotten me so far when exploring Idaho.

3:47 “There is no running water” Immediately shows the sink
@JonConti4 жыл бұрын
Henry Deschain Yep. Visually the sink represents running water so if you just show a shot of the sink the audience may assume it works. But when you combine the visual of the sink with the line “there is no running water” hopefully you notice that they have a sink, but realize that it does not have water attached to it. Looks like you noticed so the edit worked 😀.

This is NOT the Burgdorf you remember as a kid. Now requiring covid papers regardless of age. This IS Idaho ? NEXT!
@JonConti2 жыл бұрын
Ya this is Idaho, where property rights are viewed as god given. It's privately owned land by a single family, they can require you to wear a thong to swim if they want. Imagine if I showed up at your house and complained that you made me take my shoes off? That's essentially the complaint you're making here.
