I haven't sledded for about 12 years now. I used to be OBSESSED with it. One year, I went up every weekend for the whole winter!... $$$. Been all over Michigan lower and upper. The way the winters are so up and down now has turned us all off. Back in the late 80s to the early 2000s, there would be very ride-able snow conditions from 2nd week of December to mid March no matter where you went from Grayling area to the tip of the U. P. Rarely any multiple meltdowns mid winter like now. The off and on good snow conditions nowadays has caused way too many people to hit the trails at the same time making it very hard to find lodging and bad trail conditions. Sure hope to get back in some day...especially after watching these videos!

Yeah, you have to love it, to be able to justify owning some sleds nowadays with these winters!

brother lives in that town. thats ware we always start out. i find that sometimes the riding is better south of 28, might not be as much snow as north of 28, but less traffic. the shipwreck is pretty much all they got in that town to eat, and ya food is good there. nice video thanks for sharing it.
