The bear at the end of Snowpiercer tells us that one aspect of the narrative inside the train is a lie: ALL life outside the train is extinct. Clearly, some life has survived, and if there's a predator, there must be prey, which means a good deal of life is out there. The people at the end may, in fact, become bear food, but for me, the message is... life finds a way.

Yes. If a polar bear has been able to survive, humans could definitely survive. The issue is that none of the world were equipped for the sudden temp change, so it’s likely that all human life as well life outside of the Arctic died. In fact, it’s kinda surprising that the bear survived, as they’re the most dependent on the rest of the food chain, and that was probably significantly disrupted as the arctic suddenly changed with the rest of the world. As it stands it would be one of the worst mass extinctions in world history, but life would recover, and hey, maybe intelligent life will eventually evolve again and learn from our mistakes.
@smiler6326

Learn from mistakes if there is nothing surviving on records then that is unlikely I mean it’s happened a few times already civilisation been wiped out and others repeating there mistakes it’s only in last 200 years this actually started to stop. There is proof ancient Egyptians had ways of producing electricity in forms of battery pots but then no one used anything like that for another 2thousand years so if this happened it would be a very slow recovery very slow

All these fools in the comment section ranting about how this video isn't 'ORIGINAL' and a 'RIP OFF". This dude literally puts 'follow up' in the title and he suddenly becomes accused for stealing the idea when he's never claimed it was his own. He even puts the name of the channel in the title and the original link in the description and mentions the original theory constantly. The way I see it, this video is good for both of them and it'll keep garnering more views and profit, which might be the cause of all these butthurt people down in the comments blabbering about 'plagiarism'. There's a clear difference between 'RIPPING OFF' and extending an already presented idea with new facts (and or theories, in this case ).

The end of snowpiercer is ambiguous but not that ambiguous. There's a reason you see a polar bear at the end and it's not to make you go "oohh they might get eaten by a polar bear!" No the point of the polar bear is simple. It's a living animal. It is an animal that is living and by the looks of it thriving in this environment that is supposed to be to cold for any animal to live in. That means the earth is warming and there is still hope for humanity.

There’s so many fantastic components here, particularly how Charlie was supposed to be black which really adds an amazing grace note to the ending. I am deeply honored by this, and lord knows you probably went crazier making all of this than I did. I am so glad this level of thought and appreciation for this theory exists before the television show comes around and inevitably disappoints us You sir are NOT a shoe PS: I totally screwed up the timelines as many people pointed out. 2014 would have been the launch of CW-7 (which freezing warts is genius and I wish I thought of that) and the events of the movie would have been 20 years after so the characters would have been much older which I would like to remind the internet (ITS A GODDAM MOVIE... Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (movie) was based in the 70s and not '63. There is a scene with a peace symbol in chalk on a wall that Charlie walks past in a construction site / ally of sorts. That pushes your start of timeline 10 years back making the age difference less and makes the charaters right in line with each movie. No longer 90 but 80. It fits.

really all seven. let's run through them shall we. Lust: no evidence either way though he is presumably a bachelor Gluttony: he runs a chocolate factory so I guess he inspires this in others. Greed: he is a wealthy industrialist so he presumably hordes his gains to some extent. Sloth: This is one that he most definitely does not commit. Wrath: there are a few scenes where he's angry but does that really count. Envy: This is a difficult one for me to define but maybe he's envious of Charlie at times. Pride: Absolutely Wonka is one of the most egotistical prideful people in fiction. He commits two maybe three sins tops.

I don’t think it counts as a rip off, when they explain at the very start the original source and creator of the theory. They also put it in the main title that it’s a follow up of Rhino Stews original video, along with the link to Rhinos video in the description. I honestly think he is just giving his take and opinion on the theory itself and not actually taking credit for coming up with it.
