I'm a Klim guy and have been riding their gear since they were made in USA. I just bought my wife a full FXR 1 piece setup and it's great. It keeps her warm and she tends to me cold anytime the temps drop below 80.

Kudos to all the volunteers and manufacturers donating time and funds to keep outdoor activities enjoyable! Watching from SE Michigan, considered going up for a trip until I saw the prices of permits. What and where do those funds go? That seems outrageously high, granted we pay permit fees down here too but not anywhere near what your fees are.

I put a set of slim Jim's on my 2015 ski doo renegade 600 carb a few years ago because I couldn't stop my sled from darting. I tried alot of different adjustments but nothing seemed to help alot. The slim Jim's pretty much eliminated all my darting issues but know my sled steers alot harder. If I tighten up my front track shock spring it helps but then my sled gets tippy in corners, I just can't seem to get it perfect so I might go back to a standard carbine next year and live with the darting. Even my 21 year old son gets really sore after a 80 mile ride on tight trails. Hoping ski doo comes out with some kind of power steering assist soon.

I had to buy double downs from snow studs because woodys or stud boy dont offer there duel runners for slp ski. Have to say iv never been more impressed with set of runners in my 40 years of experience. Put set on Of 4 inch my 2010 Z1 ext turbo unbelievable like power steering. Great show. Thank u. Josh G.

I have run slim Jim runners since ‘15, my complaint is that they are always clogged up with something. Typically it’s a stone picked up from a road crossing but they will get full of ice as well.

Really enjoy the show and magazine , i have trying to find a good mx style helmet, the fxr blade looks good and it sounds like it comes in wide size range, what goggles are you wearing ? Wearing glasses sucks to , thanks from new york

Have you every tried Pro-Vue prescription goggles? They'll actually fit your prescription into the lens. Motorhead Mark uses these all the time.

my question is , why dont the factorys give these to us right off the showroom floor, with $33,000 being spent why in the hell are we dealing with darting at all? my 1986 yamaha vmax darted. why are we still dealing with this over 30 years later? this is not a comment. i want an actual answer from polaris.

I'm going to completely disagree about the "pod" being in the way. Not even shorter riders would think that its in the line of vision in any way. It is a bit tall yes, but the amount of storage you gain is worth it. I feel like talking about it blocking the "view" of the front is just filler talking point because no one that is a capable rider that is riding a boost is looking that close in front of their sled. A capable rider is looking minimum 15+ feet ahead of them. There is zero reason you would need to see that close in front of you in any situation, and unless you're literally sitting on the seat while climbing, it does not block any vision while climbing.

fxr has the worst gloves ever made

Unfortunate to hear. We've never had an issue with our FXR gloves. I use the heated gloves which are awesome when it gets really cold and this is my third season on this same pair. The battery will last about half a day so I bought an extra set of batteries that I have charged up and ready to swap out. Also have a pair of mountain gloves I wear on not so cold days that I've had for about 5 seasons and I also use them when I'm doing photography on cold days. They work great.
