I sold my fleet in 2019 and in early 2020 took delivery of an Expedition Sport and LE with the 900. I got lucky to get them right before COVID and before the prices got stupid. I just sold both of them, together they had about 10k miles. I had the LE tricked out with the front and rear bumpers, skid plate, and the cargo box, it looked badass and I will miss it. I am glad to see that not much has changed for 2025. Skidoo has hit gold with the Expedition Sport, rural AK is why it is the best seller.

This may be the sled for my/ wife and I. We have been thinking about a two up sled for some time as she has some issues driving her own sled due to some injuries from a vehicle accident some time ago. Thanks for the info. Will look at this sled. Dave

I got the 900 turbo last year. I am very happy with the Expedition. Can really do everything. Hauling, trail ride, little playing in deep snow and mountains. The only downside is that it is very heavy. But this only a problem if you flip it over or get really stuck alone, which it rarely does. Please more of this. The ultra sports machines are fun but i think just few buy them? Its like people like to watch nascar or F1, but drive a F 150 or Corolla daily and want to know how they perform 😂

Great video, i have a 2023 900 ace expedition se, really impressed with it, riding two up, trail riding or solo, hauling gear into our camp, rides great with the air ride sc5 u rear skid, for the price of it ,it should come with heated seating.

I love the Expy platform and the versatility of all the models, but I wish it had the widest model variety. It needs something between a Sport and wide track...ie. 16 wide track and bigger HP engine. The 600efi was a good step. Lets get a 600 and 850 2stroke in there. 2in min paddle. Basically a lynx lol. But the 20in model is incredible. Definitely extremely capable.

The 900 ace serms to becoming a very reliable engine, but all my past BRP snowmobiles were always plagged with small issues. That's the reason i purchased a new (2021) Yamaha Viking Proffessional 1000 four stroke. That 3 cylinder genesis engine is tried and true and is extremely reliable

If you had to pick one which would you say is the all-around best engine for reliability and power for these utility sleds? Between the turbos and the others... There are so many choices for power plants now it's hard to make a decision for power and reliability with the unknowns as far as ease of maintenance for part replacement and breakdowns etc. I hope this question makes sense

Can the articulating track be locked in the up position while driving on a trail? I know it can be locked in the down position

It doesn't lock in the up position but doesn't contact the ground. It angles upward. Makes a noticeable differnce in handling when trail trading. Locking it down when in deep snow or towing gives better performance.

I really like Expedition.. But. I do like Commander more :) For me its more about ride position, especially on longer rides. And very bumpy trails.

I hope Ski-Doo stops storing their gas tanks in a warehouse with no dust covers on the sender assembly hole. The tanks all come full of black warehouse dust. I really want to fix something other than the damn fuel sender assembly gas filter sock. I've got way too good at removing Ski-Doo gas tanks. Which is way more complicated than it should be, by the way. PS: Please start putting the sender assembly on the top of the gas tank.

Why doesn't somebody build for us civilians a wider track vehicle with removable track for summer to expose wide enough then installed rubber tires instead of track and skis for winter only. Or do we have to do our own start-ups to accomplish that each and every time we want a new one?

I love the 2006 ski-doo MXZX 550f Rotax engine that I snow checked. I had over 10,000 miles on the original non rebuilt engine before I sold it to my brother. He's now enjoying it. I only used the ski-doo mineral oil in it as well. I now ride my 2022 Ski-doo Backcountry X 850 that I snow checked.
