Always had a special place in my heart for Arctic Cat. I hope something gets them back on track. I finally switched to the Polaris Titan but I swear by the ZR 200 my grandson rides and am watching closely for when the 400 is suitable for both his demeanor and development

I miss the FireCat F7 and the CrossFire800HO. Those two machines and the engine design were awesome and they set the bar. Ski doo made the rev and continued to improve and develop on it. I wish Arctic Cat would at least dig out the crossfire and rebuild it, and improve on that. Just some slightly better shocks and minor improvements would definitely put it right back in the challenge. At the very least bring back that body work.

Thanks to all you "arctic cat is falling behind" "when will we see a new chassis" people I was able to pick up a 2021 Arctic Cat Hardcore Alpha last February for 4 G's off the MSRP and put that towards a Silber Turbo kit. Best riding sled I've rode yet, has better shock package than any of the manufacturers, engine has been reliable, great clutches. Sure the chassis is 10 years old but I have no problems with it and I came off a G4 Summit and ride an Axys a lot. End of the day I have a great riding 200 HP gas n go turbo alpha for less than a Turbo Doo or new Matryx Boost. Have a great Winter everyone.

@@bradyanderson6840 it's cute that you think 2018 was a new chassis. It is exactly the same as 2017, that is why they lost that huge lawsuit to BRP in Canada. They put on different plastic and called it a new chassis, but it wasn't. Rolling the chaincase is not a new chassis.
@bradyanderson68403 жыл бұрын
@@SnowmobileHomeMovies Nope that was for the rev and gen 4 platforms bud. 2018 was a new chassis and was made up of minor changes versus the procross chassis. They call it the ascender chassis and it is narrower with new plastics, spindles, a arms and a few more things. Mainly front end changes. The lawsuit was for 2008 through 17 models and was targeted specifically at the front subframe. I wouldn't say they were the same either. Doo had a huge problem with broken subframes and split bulkheads. Cat never had that problem with their sleds. They may have been the same basic design but they used different materials or better geometry vs ski doo. But hey... nobody bitched about everyone else copying cats front end and A arm design back in the day when they innovated that. It's benchmark to this day.

@@LastChanceLegacy I guess I don't really understand how you can absolutely love your 19 ZR but also be pissed of how much better the Polaris was. The QS3R's are also not on my 19 Limited so they will be new to me as well. I guess I'm just not someone that needs new changes only for the sake of new changes.
