Love these videos. I usually put them on mute and improvise slow ambient guitar to what I'm watching. It's very inspiring, the people watching, even just the cleanliness and beauty of these urban areas. Seems so untroubled compared to what I see here in the states. It's great to know there are still places like this in the world. Places where you see more smiling faces than furtive glances.

No. Masks haven't been mandatory for a very long time. Many people in Japan still wear masks out of concern and respect for others. The culture is more respectful than Europe or the USA.
