Under a republic form of govt/ democracy, the President has the right to fire anyone under the executive and Palamenterian has the right to vote what ever way they choose. And that includes voting against your own party and consistuants interest. Our media/ social media tend to focus on nonsense issues. The bigger problem in SL is we allowed Lebanese and Indians to monopolize every aspect of our economy, hence no competition and high inflation. But let's continue with our nonsense.

You guys must discuss the loyalties bog the Chiefs in parliament separately from the normal elected members nod parliament. The chiefs loyalty is biased to the Government in power headed by the President. This distinction must be taken into account.
