This is the exact same crap that people pulled out when Leo was playing Ike. "WOW IKE IS SO BROKEN ALL HE DOES IS NAIR." Does anyone in tourney play Ike anymore? Same with Joker. Does anyone else but Leo make it/does well in semifinals in a major playing Joker? Look at VoID and you'll get your answer. And then there's the crap on how Leo got carried by Arsene. Does anyone realize that Leo gets most of his kills in tournaments without Arsene? Having Arsene around is just gives Leo more options to KO but besides that Leo can manage most of the time without him. It's ridiculous how people are agreeing that Joker "saps the fun out of the game" simply because they get bodied by him during family parties. If you got bodied by him online then even worse; you're just bad, because even ZeRo stated that Joker is terrible online due to how technical he is. And don't get me wrong. Marss is one of my favourite players due to how well he does with a character that is rather underappreciated. But saying that Joker "Saps the fun out of the game" just because you got bodied twice, is quite ridiculous. Samsora agreeing, is also quite hilarious considering he plays Peach, a character often regarded as top 3 and quite annoying to play against.

his concept is kinda lame though. First joker doesn't need arsene to be a decent character. His frame data is ok, his disjoints are ok, he kill not so late (specially because his smash attacks are very, very good so you can use them in neutral/(combo ?)) ect BUT if you hit him and didn't kill him before like 60% he just transform to a very very very good character (probably a busted one), and that's the same if you try to camp (as a joker or not) and if you can parry ennemy attack with a frame 3 parry. We can't tell if this is op yet. I don't think he is as simple to understand as Ike, and i think he is very good and a solid top tier, time will answer it. But if this character sap the fun out of this game ? It's a real question :p It's true that mkleo is arguably the best player in the world so if he pick Joker for real, it will probably be the best char in the game too

also his counter is lame with his normal form, but he is busted in his arsene form. A frame 4 counter reflector with that much range, and dmg, with good active frame and pretty low recovery (vulnerable between frame 32 to 53)

I actually think Marss has a better chance against Leo's Joker than against those characters. He already took a set from the Joker and went game 5 last hit the next time. He took a game here too. I really think Marss was just on a very bad mindset this tournament, it really looks like he is pushing too hard to be number 1. I 100% think that the best possible mindset to play smash is to try to have fun. It's what works for me. I think Marss should try that.

Before all the salt i was looking forward to this match. With tweek eliminated i wasn't sure about who would give leo a good fight. Until i saw he had to face marss. To be fair i should have expected leo to get better, as he always does, but that wasn't the problem. It was marss. So many mistakes, played sloppy and even got salty. As good as he is, he should have tried fighting till the end. But that's it i guess. Leo remains dominant. GG's marss. I hope you come back stronger next tournament and with a better attitude.

Every character takes skill to learn even if you think “it’s a mindless character” (Ex:Joker,Ganon,Lucina) MKleo is a good player he learned how to utilize Jokers tools and move sets while Marss also learned ZZS move set and learned how to utilize her. he’s performed way better before his movement the first game was slow and he didn’t seem to react that well maybe he just wasn’t focused all things aside MKleo beat Marss with pure skill

I believe he used the wall jump to reset his midair jump. You see he midair jumps right before the wall jump then AFTER uses his up b onto the ledge into another midair jump to use the guns. He gauged the jump height really well, it was a great play. Hope this helped.

When you latch onto the ledge with up b, zip up to the ledge, then after pressing away from the stage and jump immediately after ( like you would if you were edgeguarding with a back air off the ledge), it gives you just the height to use the guns like MKLeo did.

@@DuckWhenIBust So the actual trick had nothing really to do with the wall jumps or midair jumps per say, they were just used for repositioning. The real trick is: 1)up b, then zip to ledge 2) press away and then jump immediately after 3)fire the guns (You can just use up b to latch on and neutral get up after you're done).

Mkleo Joker is really good but I feel like they should do something about Arsene. Make it last less or harder to come out without nerfing the damage maybe. Seems like joker can get his Arsene form at around 60% which is a low amount of risk to take for that much of a reward.

If people don't like playing against a certain character then they can say they aren't fun to play against. Just because someone is popular or considered good by the community doesn't make what they say gospel. Remember in smash four when everyone said Lucina was trash compared to Marth? Every one just agreed, now she's the best? Or how about how ike or chrom are top tiers. No one seems to play them anymore. I would assume that's because the people who said they were good learned how to play against them. Someone is gonna study the ever loving crap out of his joker and body him. People don't know how to play against joker, especially mkleos, because not many people play him. It was the same with palutena in four (it was even worse with the custom moves). Y'all at each others throats saying so and so is bad when you couldn't even take a stock off them. Also I can't believe people are mad at Leo for using arsen??
