Oh! Did you know that you can take a pair of pliers and twist the ends of the zip tie, the part that you’re filing off, they make them so they don’t cut other workmen. So just a few twists close to the zip part and it doesn’t leave a dumb mean point ❤

What a great tip! I will give it a try on my next Snuffle Ball! It's so important to have it smooth for the pups noses! Thanks for sharing!

Is there a way to make this without the zip ties so you can wash and dry it? Not sure how those would hold up in a washer/dryer or if it was safe

I made mine with zip ties and they have been washed & dried (on medium) many times since I made them. No issues..

It is perfectly fine in the washer and dryer, just don't dry on super hot!

What is the tool you use for cutting the fabric in the beginning?

It is the Hercules 5-speed cordless, rechargeable, electric rotary cloth cutting machine. It can go thru just about anything. I've done 36 layers of regular fabric, and obviously multiple layers of fleece! I had the corded one, but that cord was a pain. It is worth the extra $25 for the cordless one, it comes with 2 batteries and the charger, so you always have one ready to go but the battery lasts so long. I use it for even just one or two layers of fabric because I get a nice straight line easily and no strain on my wrists/hands. Here is the amazon link: amzn.to/3OUlmOF

Whats up with circles, why not just use squares? Just doesn't make sense to me, seems like a waste

No fabric ever goes to waste at Crafting Change. We have a use for every scrap. The remnants from this project can be used for snuffle mats and any smaller pieces are used to stuff dog beds. Ballsou are a natural shape of play for the animals, but we would be interested to see if a square shape would work, have you tried it?
