Im 86 year old. Fallowing the NY Mets since they played their first game. Polo Ground, Casey Stengel. The home run by Lindor was very emotional that tears were running down. Went to take a shower with the score 1 0. I asked the lord that when I finished shower, to see a 4 instead of a 0. That when i started getting emotional and thanking the lord for the favor. I rush to see the reply and tears start coming down watching this historic moment. I would love to meet Mets players someday before my 90th birthday.

@@chaunseybillings5381 That's what everyone said the Brave's would do, then the Brewers, then the Phillies... How's that working out? Oh and also, the Phillies could have swept the Mets and Mets fans would still be happy with how this season went. This season was a wash/rebuild season according to upper management, they are playing on house money and with the absolutely unbelievable story they've been writing, they could easily beat the Padres and even win a World Series. And yes, it's spelt Padres not Pardes 🤣 PS. The Phillies have a better team than the Padres just fyi 🤭

@@chaunseybillings5381 you consider May 30th "at the end"? The Mets have had the best record in baseball since May 30th. I know the Padres are a good team but your comment is giving 🤡

@@chaunseybillings5381 @pj_lenz The fact that this guy is commenting that on the most wholesome comment from a dedicated 86 year old Mets fan says a lot about his character and maturity level. Really hoping the Dodgers win that series now... you still have to worry about game 5 and you're here hating on Mets' videos??? @@pingamalinga, if that’s not the look of an athlete that is focused, then I don’t know what is. Paquito has been down this road before and knows what it takes to get to the World Series. He got there in 2016. I know he wants to get back, win it this time, and cement his legacy as one of NY’s great professional athletes.

@@rubensanabria1018 100% yes. I was waxing about that ability a lot this season. When Acuña was called up and he hit 3 HR in his first 10 days in the majors or whatever. Imagine that? I'd be throwing up on the way to the box. The most gifted players are special for that reason. Their pulse stays even and the game even slows down for them. It's an uncanny ability.

And watched that magical ‘15 run. But this moment here might top them all. I live near Philly and all my friends want to tell me how Lindor is so overrated and overpaid.
