Angelina is so extraordinary there are not enough words to describe her! You obviously are aware of the version of this song recorded by the Righteous Brothers (or Bobby Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers). That’s the version most people are familiar with, and it doesn’t end the way Angelina ends it. But when Bobby performed this song live on the Andy Williams Show, he did it this way. This is the version Angelina is covering. Look up that version and be mesmerized as Bobby’s male voice rises to the stratosphere at the end. It’s mind-blowing! Most people just think she made up that ending on her own. And maybe so as it’s technically not EXACTLY the way Bobby did it.

Thank you Angel, love this performance by AJ you will have noticed she can run anyone out of the building already she was 11 yrs old here I believe the other angels will correct me if not, at home just like a walk in the park for her she is like this with any song any genre cool as a cucumber seemingly effortless, Her vocal control is incredible but she loves to sing so much I think she has sung every available moment since she was born, she is still the same now and that love she has is infused into everything she sings. Suggestion maybe go back to the beginning to Norway's got talent when she first appeared to the world . Absolutely phenomenal performance from our barefoot princess, this is one of my favourites from this musical genius, Angelina’s beautiful jazzy soulful pitch perfect voice touches your heart and soul, Angelina takes a classic song and makes the song her own, she upgrades covers, I’ve been following Angelina for many years now and have attended three live concerts, two live concerts in her home country Norway 🇳🇴 a concert when Angelina was 12 years old another in Norway again in the summer of 2022 when Angelina was 16 years old, and the latest concert this year in USA 🇺🇸 Angelina’s stage presence is phenomenal her live vocals stunning, Checkout Angelina singing live on the STREAM with her rendition of FEELING GOOD at 10 years old, I’m so glad you have found Angelina only around 200 more songs to listen to, great reaction thanks 🙏

At 11 Years old Angelina was absolutely unbelievably amazing but at her recent Portsmouth performance her live rendition was mind blowing as Angelina brought the house down! She slowed the song down and gave I think her very best performance ever ! I was brought to tears from the opening line ! Thank you for this wonderful reaction and please posting my friend ! Many will suggest Bohemian Rhapsody from AGT when she was 13 but as a lead up to that I think "Million Years ago" from Adelle or "Stay" from Rihanna when Angelina was 12 year old are both stunning showcases of not only her vocals but her ability to project emotion on another level. Her early Norway's Got Talent performances are also a wonderful introduction to 7-8 yo Angelina. Thanks for your nice reaction.

The 'Gold Standard' for this song is Bobby Hadfield's rendition in the 60's on The Andy Williams Show. That said, Angelina's original cover of the song was at home and still was the 2nd best performance of this song.......ever !

Actually her first time covering this song was at 9 years of age. She was interviewed on Norway TV about her just published book (youngest publish ever in Norway) which is about why she performs barefoot. After the interview, she performed a shortened version of Unchained Melody that was crazy good. Then she did this performance at 12 in her house without a visible mike and filmed with a cellphone! On Sept. 22, 2023, during her live (sold out) concert in Portsmouth NH, she drove the audience crazy with a beautifully emotional, slowed down version based more on Elvis' rendition shortly before he died! Shortly after that she performed the song again at what was apparently a private function speeded up a little and somewhat more like Bobby's version! The performance shown here at 12 was, I agree, the second best I had ever heard at the time, moving Elvis' to third, BUT both of her recent performances were better than this one and many (just about every one that was at her concert) including myself, are of the opinion that her performance at Portsmouth was the BEST, even better than Bobby's!!

I've heard some of what she performed at the Portsmouth concert, but felt that where her singing was impeccable, I didn't feel the musical instruments were properly 'in sync' with her, forcing her to adjust her vocal releases 'on the fly', which luckily for us, she is a master at accomplishing. What people have to understand is that if you talk with vocal experts, they will tell you that she won't reach her full 'lung development' until her mid 20's. This is truly mind boggling but I remember being shown by Andreas Grussl in his comparison video of 'Easy On Me' by her and Adele, that Angelina actually 'out belts' Adele in the power sections of the song. Grussl's video is titled 'Is This Better Than Adele?', and he also states that Angelina's rendition is of a much 'warmer' quality than Adele, and this is 'undoubtedly' due to her being a true jazz specialist and not a non jazz singer like 'The Great Adele'. It's these 'Billie Holiday inspired' jazz roots that allow Angelina to invoke more emotion laden penetration into heartfelt ballads than any other singer I have ever heard. Two perfect examples are her 'at home' casual renditions of 'A Million Years Ago' & 'Stay', where she is superior in her presentations than both Adele and Rhianna, respectively, who's renditions were not 'one take', 'at home' performances but studio set-up presentations of magnitude that I'm sure required multiple 'takes' before being released to the public. A top exec at Stargate said that he had only found three singers who could produce a 'production ready' song in a 'single take' and they were Beyonce, Sam Smith.......and Angelina. It's an extraordinary feat, to be sure.

AFAIK she got professional music training at the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program (not only for singing) even before she was going to primary school and further on untill she moved to LA...
