Its worth it in some countries, not in all, though. But do it if you want.

I have three things to say: 1.) Only you can determine its worth my dude. "Good" lifestyles look different for everyone. 2.) Contrary to what a lot of older generations believe, there isn't a single guaranteed path. Business majors still end up in dead-end jobs. Lawyers can be underpaid and overworked. The medical field as a whole can be unethical and depressing. 3.) If you find that it *isn't* worth it in your 20's, you can change careers before your 30's. And at 30, you still have another 30+ more years to find something better. All skills are transferable - even drawing - as long as you're persuasive.

Sup homie. In America and Canada, the STARTING wage for animation is 34$ per hour or 300$ per day. Even though my work is NOT “industry standard” like the work of the absolutely amazing BaM Animation guys, I have still been able to find work. As an animator that recently graduated art college, my starting wage is much higher than my buddies who went to business school and my friends that went to trade school. I highly recommend it, IF you’re willing to work harder than the next guy and push yourself. People can 100% tell if you’re passionate and will trust you with work if they see you’re consistently making art and reliably making deadlines. Utilize social media to get your work out there and to receive criticism and feedback. Check out my KZbin channel for examples of some of my recent work. I’m nowhere near these BaM guys (yet!) and I was employed only 3 months after graduating. Good luck! 👍🍀

Just wondering if you used any special Photoshop tools to make the line art so nice? The lines on the image of the city were very straight and clean, and the character design has very smooth and clean lines. Also, love the show!

I saw how Brent designed a gas station in the middle of the desert. I wonder if it is possible to show the process of using textures in drawing backgrounds in photoshop? 2- can you guys give a more detailed description of the uses of after effects and how it is used in a pipeline like: photoshop-CC animate-After Effects? 3-Adobe`s illustrator app, can it be used in a similar pipeline. I mean what is it used for in general?

Thank you! 1, we will do a video about this eventually, just hold tight! 2 After effects is primary used for compositing finished character animation on top of the background, and added effects like glows and stuff. We cover this a bit in the character turn around video. 3 Illustrator is actually for graphic design and typography. you can also make really clean looking vector illustrations in it. and some animated shows have used it to make achieve that look. Fosters home for imaginary friends, Neighbors from hell. the allan gregory show. but its not good for sketching or painting. and since you can achieve the exact same results in flash. there isn't too much of a point to using it in a traditional animation pipeline.

BaM Animation Are certain software programs best for specific techniques and styles? I don’t have the money to go to expensive schools but I would love to do online classes on this subject matter. I haven’t had too much exposure to animation- mostly illustration on photoshop,illustrator, clip studio paint, and watercolour and acrylic painting traditionally.
