Great explanation of how drummers can back a soloist, keeping the groove, yet make it interesting with nuances. Spot on breakdown of his solo section (hitting accents while soloing and going outside) Great vibe, can't believe this hasn't been viewed more. Gergo is a beast!

That song was Gergo's composition and arrangement. His favorite Drummer is Billy Cobham. Arron Spears interviewed him before the concert and an excerpt of that interview, Gergo was asked by his music teacher, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Gergo replied, "I want to be a black drummer when I grow up." Aaron was surprised at his innocent, honest and sincere answer that he started laughing at his remark and said, "Well, you're half way there." Laughs all around. That reaction was awesome. I learned a lot from it. You have a deep understanding of music. Very enjoyable reaction and you're a charismatic human too that can inspire others.

Any time where the ENTIRE band (except Gergo) is ever so slightly behind the beat, to me, is one of the most insane parts of this performance to pull off.

I heard somebody else comment on this video, and they mentioned something about that the drummers that are in the Zildjian series for this particular Series right the music? I can certainly believe that for the most part and a lot of the cases, but I just don't know that this particular drummer wrote this particular song or that he writes songs, but after hearing and play only the band The Ghost note and snarky Puppy immediately come to mind as a set of musicians who can possibly come up with music that he can play and that can play well to an audience of essentially lovers of Genius.

You probably know the name of the band is Ghost note, but since you didn't mention it in the video in the beginning and you said something about his left hand Ghost Notes, if you listen carefully I think he has ghost notes in every appendage.

Perhaps he doesn't want his first name pronounced like gar (as in Gary)- gir (as in girl) but that's quite close to the Hungarian pronunciation.

If his name was Göran Svensson (from Sweden) he would get perhaps a hundred times more views, like Avicii (more than 2 billion views for that Wake me Up "shit"), LOL!
