Small guns for concealed carry always feel great in the gun store and when holstered on the belt. My hands are on the larger size and the biggest problem I have is the draw stroke which then feeds into grip. I also find it difficult to get my finger inside the trigger guard at speed on some smaller guns and they can force me to alter my trigger finger placement on the trigger more than I like. Guns can be too small and/or too thin for me to be effective with them, at least to the extent that I’d like. Thanks for the video.

Dumb comparison. Gatorade is a sports drink specifically made to help athletes replenish electrolytes lost during perspiration. Glock is fine, especially the 19.5 BUT the P365 is a better carry pistol. If you need a do it all pistol, the P365 can be that gun for many people. The new integrally comped slides do work, but I think the comp design on my Shalotek slide is flat out better. Either way, they allow a small pistol to perform like a much bigger one. I like my 19.5, I still carry it occasionally in an Ironside, but it doesn't make sense to carry over the setup I have created with the P365.

Nice shootin Tex! I love my G43x mos and will always carry a Glock. It's more than just shooting when picking a pistol. Complete break down of a Glock requires one tool and parts are widely available and maintenance is low and reliability is high. I'm not bashing Sig but pick one and train with what you carry. It shoots good but the medium is to small for me I can get my hand on the gun but it just feels to rounded or thin. But yeah I'm not a fan of glock triggers. They just bite the hell out of my finger for some reason so I uselly just swap it out and then replace the sights so I wanted to try something different.

I use the BALDR Mini because it is brighter and sits flush with the end of the barrel. Also, it's easier to just mount and dismount when needed. Wireless charging is very convenient as well. Thank God you guys support the BALDR Mini for this gun! THANK YOU!

I have a Sig M17 w/ TLR1HL and Trijicon RMR that I acquired as soon as they were released that was tuned by THE Sig armorer that replaced my custom G19 for duty use. HOWEVER for off duty I carry the Glock 43x w TLR7 and Sig Romeo Zero. All of the guns are amazing and out perform the average shooter.

I don't know if any light available will fit flush on there... The TLR-7 is going to be a bit short. You may want to consider the Streamlight TLR-1HL, but I believe the light will stick past the end of the slide a bit.

i tried the Sigs had an XMacro and the standard P365, nothing wrong with them; they just weren't my cup of tea. I guess it was like driving a Ford; it did everything I needed, but it just didn't feel right. I went back to the Glock pattern and wound up with Shadow Systems; I've got the XR920, MR920, and now the CR920; they're all amazing and have put my Glocks back in the safe.

I went with the Mischief Machine Commander Macro grip module to solve that width issue that impacts grip. With grip panels and the way the aluminum is milled, it's 1.25 inches thick at the widest, which lets me get more support meat on the gun, but it still conceals well and is more comfortable than G19 or P320 X-Compact . Sadly, I had to go elsewhere for holster support , sorry Werx.

I like my P365 X MACRO Comp, and so does my wife (it’s her first handgun that she’s ever shot). That being said, I’ve been shooting Glocks for so long that I have utter confidence in them (I’ve had two of mine since about 2009), and it’s going to be hard for any SIG to earn that same confidence. I also don’t think the slim grip of the P365 X MACRO is as big of an advantage as many believe - some folks don’t like the feel of slimmer grips.

A few of my shooting friends have been talking about the 320’s going off on there own, and they say not that there is any cases of 365’s going off on there own, but the 365 is a similar design to the 320. With that being said I have been carrying my Glock which is great, but boy the Macro is an amazing gun I feel ! I really value you opinion, I have a Werkz holster for it and carry it appendix. The reason I mention that is because I am a bigger guy as well. Would really appreciate you thoughts ! Your video was fantastic !

I have 9 glocks and I picked up the XMacro , all of them are excellent guns but after 25 years of shooting/carrying Glocks its hard to put them down because I have yet to have one fail. my first G26 purchased in 1998 is still reliable 25 years later on its original trigger. I replaced the barrel maybe 5 years ago.

It's a full size gun for small hands. It's barely 1/4in smaller than a glock 17/45 and the grip is nearly the same length with the magazine plates, and just a bit thinner. Not too impressive in my opinion. I still have the macro TacOps but for deap carry the p365x is perfect for me. AlienGeat holster makes it easier

Everyone I know that bought a 320, regreted it and went back to Glock. I don't know a single person that bought a not a 320 sig. They look good on paper but then they arent drop safe, they Rust inside, they have some strange choices when it comes to design and they mostly only can use Sig products for some reason. To shoot a 320 fast, you need a tungsten grip, gas pedal and the internal brake. Glock is just easier to shoot fast, probably cuz it has the lower overbore. I will stick with my G17 and nothing so far was better

Most definitely do not want porting on a self-defense carry pistol. Think about it: do you really want all that hot gas, and burning powder shooting straight up If you have to pull and shoot from the hip quickly? The answer is no.

I carry the Sig.. its like a Glock.. but for men😂 Is there any chance a TLR -1 will be able to fit the Macro with a custom key? Already saw one and the person used an S&W key but the light wasn't all the way back flush with the trigger guard. BTW I just got today my Origin Holster for the Macro and TLR 7 sub.. My Goodness it is perfect and super comfortable at IWB. Concealment is much better than other holster I've tried.

Having a light with that much output isn't good. The purpose of a light is to see people and maybe slightly disorient. If your light is too powerful it also blinds you. In most scenarios you don't need a light like this as a tlr7 sub has more than enough light for closer encounters. If you wake up in the middle of the night and turn on his recommended light your probably going to disorient yourself too.

I have a P365 in essentially a Specter comp format, but with a Shalotek slide and a Wilson Combat XL module. In my hands I feel like it's an absolute unit, fast and accurate well out beyond your normal engagement distances, and 50-100yds is easily achievable. The little pistol is good enough that I don't feel the need to swap to the PDP for classes, and I can easily dump 500 rounds in a range day without feeling like the gun is abusive. If you are used to Glock, feel free to stick with it. Just because other people find value in another pistol doesn't mean you need to manufacture reasons not to buy it. Just don't buy it...that simple. PS. You can mount a X300 on a P365 build if you want. But it will require you to spend a bit extra. You will end up with a thin G19 size pistol with 17rds and an aluminum grip module though.

I first Sig Sauer striker-fired was the P320 X Five. No issues. Got me next the P320 M17. No issues. Next, the P320 X Compact. No issues, but I sold it later on. Being pleased with the performance and reliability of all of them, I fell for the P320 X-Compact Legion, this one is a tack driver with no issues either. My latest acquisition is the P365 XMacro TACOPS. The bottom line is, I have no problems with my Sig Sauer handguns. That's my personal experience.

Some slides, and it's usually the magazine. Some are thinking it's the coating... with the Italian made mags not having the issue.

Eh.... The xmacro isnt the end all, that folks say it is. I have one and carry it. I also have a glock 19. Ive never seriously carried that. Id say depending on your personal philosophy of use, maybe the xmacro is a glock killer for some folks. Hell my mossberg mc2c was a Glock killer. So is my arex delta M . Both lighter and easier to carry than a my Glock 19. Duty use? Shtf use? No. Neither are glock killers. Just my 2¢ .

I mean, the reality is that the P365 is a wicked platform. It's significantly better than the Hellcat, and with recent releases it easily rivals and even beats the G19 in terms of performance. This is coming from someone who spent 4 years with the 19.5 as his sole carry pistol. As for other Sig products in the pistol realm. The Sig P226 SAO is disgustingly good, but even the standard DA/SA pistols are dead nuts accurate and absolute tanks. The only pistol in Sigs line that I would say deserves harsh criticism is the P320 (manual safety makes them useable, but they should have just made a better pistol out of the box).

Having shot a standard 365 I don’t see it as drastically better than my hellcat. My friends macro is where I see sig has shined with a great carry gun. It’s almost as long as a Glock 17 grip so concealing it is not the easiest

The p365xl is a great gun, dunno what you're on about. Now the p320 may not be so great, but the p365xl (any in the p365 family for that matter) are excellent

At sigs overly high price points, and glocks current wide spread availability and after market support as well as almost wholly standard leo use, i dont think glock is on its way to be dethroned, and last of all by sig lol

High price points? Look up how much is a G19 gen 5 MOS is and then look up how much the X macro is. They’re about the same…

@@natedog380 A glock 19 MOS is $650. A macro is $799. Those numbers aren't even close. Ive carried the macro and it's a good gun. It's definitely better than glocks and has an aftermarket nearly as big, but still overpriced. All sig did was add in a couple of cuts in front of the slide to make a half-assed compensator, and extended a grip of plastic to fit 2 more rounds in. Compared to the 365XL which is $599, that isn't worth a $200 price increase. It's a $600 gun worth $800. Hell even $700 would be reasonable

I'll stick with Glock. Sig internals have not impressed many people. Sig customer service is about as fun as going to the dentist. Finding replacement parts for a company that is greatly focused on the military contracts doesn't help the average Americans. Glocks are safer, more reliable, more abundant, commonly used by LEO and military units, parts are everywhere, more importantly holsters are everywhere. All these people praising Sig probably don't shoot enough to have dealt with some of the long term issues. I've had parts fail on 3 different sig p320's post upgrade. CS refused to help. I had to go through the BBB to get Sig to honor their own warranty. If it works for you, awesome, keep training and enjoy. I'll stick with the company that has great customer service and is much more common. How the gun feels in the hand doesn't mean anything and people need to understand that. Shooting a sig that's compensated vs a stock Glock that isn't is just silly. I can buy a Glock 19 with a custom comp for the price of a sig x macro and have that shoot flatter as well.

No Sig has ever impressed me. I've put 1500 rounds through a friend's X Macro and it wasn't all that to me. I'll stick with my usual daily picks of a Hellcat Pro, Glock 19, HK VP9, and Walther PDP compact. My personal bad experiences with Sig products and customer service will require far more than the X Macro has to offer to win me over.

@@poonspoonslayer6181 agreed, but they said they fixed it but multiple, multiple police and other agencies in current lawsuits with "repaired " guns still going off by themselves. Them not knowing why it don't work is enough for me not to trust any model of them .
