shae she really is better than Mariah technically. Mariah was incredible but very raw. At times she would put in a strained belt and voice cracks (both usually intentional) and SoHyang would never do that, she's extremely polished and clean vocally. Mariah is one of the most well-rounded artists we've ever seen though, so I have nothing but respect for her.

Chris that's false. SoHyang's belting technique is far superior, especially on upper belts but on mid belts too. Aside from that, SoHyang's use of head voice is unmatched by Mariah as well. SoHyang's lows aren't great but neither were Mariah's, because despite her comfort in the register she still had the bad habit of lowering her larynx. The only thing Mariah has over SoHyang is her whistle register, but that's not a register in which good or bad technique can be used, so it's not relevant to how good/bad of a vocal technician someone is.

Chris Sohyang is technically superior to MC for sure (Mariah even said she never get formal vocal trained from her mom, she only took some advices from her mom) Mariah is more skillful and talented than Sohyang but vocal technique? good vocal tehnique won't kill your voice even you aged, Sohyang proves it

the show is a competition usually a new one every week some times every 2 depending on which legends or theme they are covering ... many artists routinely come on the show ... So Hyang has won 2 times out of 4 times on the show this performance and lean on me were wins she failed to win with Arirang Alone though she should have won with that was a popular legend his son and grandson performing together she lost to just over sentimental popularity for the winner and her performance of Everyone also an episode where her and another singer ALi had the best performances but lost out to a mediocre one by a popular artist who's fans filled the audience that day ... other songs you will probably end up reacting to for So Hyang are Fate I have Nothing O Holy Night and Where Are You are from a different competition show a few years back called I am A Singer a long term competition... though she ranked high and out performed everyone in my eyes in the end she did not win.
