hope u get to experience the less traditional weapons like the ropecaster and whatnot, but specially the dlc elemental weapons cuz those are wild, nothing beats freezing a giant machine dinosaur and then throwing bombs at it for max damage, or just shooting thunderbolts at them until u die from electric overcharge self damage then again, finding a strong enemy's weakness is just as satisfying, like shooting off a giant gun from one of the biggest dinosaurs and the realizing u can use it against itself to kill it in 20 seconds instead of 5 minutes

Once I got the bow that lets you max draw for +50% damage I never used any other bow.

bombs damage does not icrease once a machine is frozen, only arrows damage

@@gv6292 True, but bomb damage can stagger an enemy and near instantly destroy a weak point in one hit, some enemies in the DLC,, those bear things, I basically just used the bombs on to make the fight quicker.

@@Nyghtking personally I often used freeze bombs to slow it down, put a couple percussion arrows into it to knock off any weapons or armour, then go to upgraded arrows (what ever they were called) it's so fun to basically freeze them in place and then just eviscerate everything

Same. Started on hard, NG+ on very hard. Haven't been able to get through HFW. Everything is just... off. I can't place it. I enjoyed fighting Rockbreakers and Thunderjaws like nothing else in the first game, yet can't stand them in the second. I think it's something to do with their new relentless aggression that forces constant dodging and bitch play, and the god-awful hitboxes on top making that problem an even greater one. It's a shame considering how the game looks. I just got my new Samsung monitor, and on 4k with resolution mode and HDR color rendering, it's just breathtaking to walk around and look at the sights. Well, besides Aloy. What they did to her face is a crime, lmao!

The first Time I play this a friend told me "Wanna see how good and details animations have this game, make Aloy walk normal" I was confused, but when the aventure start and we play as grown Aloy you can see it, she move the Hips like a Normal Woman do, this could be a normal thing, but in most of the game they don't take the time to make Female Characters walk like a real woman, or make it so strange and unnatural, but in this game Aloy is so good animated.

Been getting back into the game and pretty much hunted and gathered as much stuff as I could before facing off against the first Sawtooth, and managed to get plenty of the weapons and upgraded inventory space. Though of course shards are rather hard to find at the very start unless you get plenty of lucky drops from machines to then sell to the only merchant you can interact with at the start.

I went with knock the rock out of his hand in my play through and I'd never seen the aim for the head option but wtf? So Aloy throws a rock at his head, which would injure him for sure, and rosts solution is to fire an arrow at a group of children?! He hit it but if he was off by a bit and anyway where'd the arrow and rock go, did they just annihilate each other? He was standing behind her so the arrows momentum (broken or not) would still carry it straight into that kids head

for me its the character interactions. it's too asmrish for me to stay focused. slow direct speaking is not good to keep you in the otherwise high octane and overly constant attacks that happen on the road. also the mount system is a little annoying. for me there is too many enemies in the open world. you can never just relax and take it all in like most open world games. Eventually i just get overwhelmed. a part of me wants to get into so bad but something prevents me from sticking with it.
