So me and my friends were able to create Raft but in Scrap Mechanic. We have been working on it for the past month and we are happy to announce that the first chapter of RaftMechanic is going to be released this Monday!

you see , survival mode does not have mod support from the workshop yet , so all the survival mods will need to be installed manually , so you will need to copy and paste files

I Love the Mod. Already played it Through with a Friend and had more Fun than in Scrap Mechanic and Raft combined. It's an absolute Masterpiece! Also I think your Implementation of the Games Story in your Mod is crazy Good! I am definetly Pumped for Chapter 2 :D

I mean, there's references to Raft in SM and references to SM in Raft, meaning this is just a more in-depth cross-over. Also there's hundreds of worlds the company probs has taken over at least one or two water planets. And that concept of food decreasing a bit of water if it's salty or smthn is pretty cool and somewhat easy to do since you can make a negative attribute value for consumables

There are a lot of features that I would love in base scrap mechanic. The propellers, sails, and fishing would be nice features. I hope that it's possible to play normal scrap mechanic with some of the features from this mod. Overall, amazing work!

Well, all of these features are designed to create an experience together. Vanila doesn't have enough water to even make sails useful.

DID YOU KNOW! Raft and Scrap Mechanic were published by the same publisher, Axolot Games. In Raft, there is there is a rare chance that you can get a Scrap Mechanic Duck statuette. The shark in Scrap Mechanic is a reference to Raft in the Shark block. It comes from the shark in Raft, and it does have a small note showing the logo of Raft. Nah, modding tutorials get very little views it seems. And log book pages is very nice anyway. But when the mod is live, you can take a look at the code. That's how most modders learn stuff.
