Matty the dinosaur you're referencing from your school years is a Triceratops, large head ridge with three horns on its head, a Stegosaurus is also a quadrupedal herbivore but they have iconic spines along their backs and spikes on their tails. As far as a Stegosaurus Rex maybe that's something in the newer movies but it's def not a real dinosaur :p

Ok I love you Matty, but the pronunciation of dinosaur names was my favorite scene of this movie!!😂🤣 But I digress, my favorite scene is so hard to choose for this movie, because there are so many iconic scenes. If I had to choose I would have to say the tender quiet moment where there’s a soft light version of the theme as various scenes of the park and merchandise are shown, that feels like the true meaning of Jurassic Park and enjoying the moment of time you have in the present while respecting the past. But come on, I mean the helicopter, the Brachiosaurus, the T. Rex, and the banner at the end. I love this movie!!

Funnily, in the book it was the competent older brother, while the young sister was a painful burden that almost gets them killed on the regular. And I think they used to play games on their dad's work computer or something, which happened to use the same OS, hence knowing how to navigate it. Might be pulling that one out of my ass though. Probably took the right approach with the movie adaption. Intentionally annoying kids are... well, annoying.

John Williams is THE quintessential Hollywood composer of the last 50 years, particularly in the last quarter of the 20th C. He's not my personal favorite since I'm not a huge orchestra guy, but he's up there He has composed so many iconic scores for all the Spielberg blockbusters and more. Not only the movies you mentioned, which is already huge, but also Jaws, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Superman, Home Alone, Harry Potter, E.T. The Extraterrestrial and more

Movie quality has definitely dropped over the last couple decades. When it comes to greatest of all time, there was Lord of the Rings trilogy in the 2000's, the Dune films of the 2020's, and possibly Infinity War/Endgame from the late 2010's. That's really about it over the last 20 years. Christopher Nolan has given us some good films, but I wouldn't put any of them in the "greatest of all time" list.

It’s just a perceived drop in quality, there’s still great movies, most people just only go to theaters for marvel or Chris Nolan. If anything, movies are getting better, stranger movies are becoming hits every year. Poor Things was one of the biggest movies last year and that movie was a trip! Not to mention some banger a24 films like Beau and talk to me. I feel like anyone who has your opinion, just needs to watch more movies. Kinds of Kindness just came out and is supposed to be amazing, go watch that, you cant complain complain about mainstream cinema getting worse unless you actually try to support indie, mid, and low budget films. That’s where all the good stuff is these days.
