I don’t know if you ever found out what Beautify’s ‘nose thing’ is called but I do love interesting facts. That is called a probosis ( pro-boh-sis ), and most bug species have one. It’s essentially their mouth. Butterflies use them to slurp up nectar from from flowers. Some species of moth also have them, but once most species of moth reach adulthood they lose their mouths and have to go off of the energy they got as caterpillars. Species that have a probosis can curl them up or fold them, hence why Beautifly’s is curled. If you look up Monarch Butterflies, their probosis is easily visible and curls and unfurls when they need to eat.

Already addressed this before but sadly the staravia isn’t shiny. Not all sparkling Pokémon are shiny in this game, it just means it’s a confirmed recruit if you KO
