Word of advice, if you throw hot water on a frozen windshield, it could potentially crack it from the windshield expanding so rapidly. Use cold tap water.

Hey, I fished there once. The lady came out, lowered her pontoon boat in the water, and took it for a spin. I told her my brother in law told me about the place (which he did) and I had my kids with me, so she didn't run me off. She later came back in, parked her boat, sprayed the pontoons off with fresh water, and went back inside her house. Oh, the fish weren't biting that day. I'm glad to see you caught a few today.

I totally agree. Caught some very big fish off the bank. Reds and Blue Catfish. The channel cats run smaller. Have to watch out for snakes (water moccasins). We always wade out from the bank and adopt surf-fishing techniques when doing this. If it's winter, we wear waders.
