Still going through withdrawal from not having your calendar this year. It was wonderful last year and so much fun! I know it was a tremendous amount of work, but please do it next year. I might just paint the pictures again with different colors! You’re the best! Thanks!

That is an epic amount of colours! 😂 They look fun though, and my niece would go absolutely nuts for that set. I like that the pad is a colouring book, which is very much my thing, haha. Oh man, have I failed miserably with calendar pages this year! 😵‍💫 I love the paintings you did, especially the hearts. ❤

You can get them separately - at least on their own website you can. And the calendar you can for sure get separately on Amazon, too.

Sets with so many bright colors appeal to children. This is why I think it was intended as a children's article. Of course it is very pretty and appetizing, albeit redundant. I might put it open on my shelf to get inspired or as an 'object'.

When I was little I would have loved seeing so many colors! And, even more importantly, having actual watercolor paper, not printer paper or newsprint would have blown my mind! I loved watercolors, but was always so disappointed at the streaky paints and disintegrating paper. But, I didn’t have any idea there was anything better… I didn’t learn there was actually quality watercolor paper that would make such a massive difference until I was in my mid 40’s! Even that hot press texture in this set would have made such a difference! Those brushes would have frustrated me though. But, they must be better than the plastic bristle brushes and pony hair brushes I had as a kid.

It's a delightful selection of colors, that's for sure. Yes, paper is such a huge deal. Glad this comes with something decent.

That's a really lovely set indeed! I would have been thrilled to get that as a child, the calendar is great, and the colouring book but my only issue with this is that I can't stand hot pressed paper, I think this would have been fantastic with cold pressed instead, gorgeous calendar paintings especially January's :D

Yes, cold-pressed paper would have been a lot easier to work with. I almost never use hot-pressed paper, so it was interesting for sure. Not bad, though!

Hullo Miranda, I thought the calendar is a nice idea as well as the coloring book! I would NEVER inflict that watercolor set on anyone that I cared about, maybe my worst enemy? DaVinci has a 6 color set that is a great option for learning and if you want more colors their 12 color full pan set even has white. Now I am still trying to incorporate white in my watercolor painting, but more and more people are using white in their watercolor paintings. I thought your decision to review this set from grabbie was quite brave and I did enjoy your painting, thank you very much and I hope you have a lovely day.
