SO MUCH FOOD! - MBK Center, Bangkok, Thailand

Day 4 in Bangkok. We spent the day getting to our new hostel and going to MBK shopping center. This is the place to go if you want the cheaper deals! We stumbled into the food market outside the mall when we were leaving, and we got to try a wide variety of meats and desserts being sold. It was awesome! Scary moment at the end when our cab driver that could barely see turned into traffic and hit a man on a motorbike. The bike driver was fine, but we felt bad for him! Tomorrow we head to Ayutthaya, a city about 50km north of Bangkok with awesome old temples. I'm definitely enjoying the smaller cities here so far over the big ones.

Oh wow, you've done some travelling around already there that's awesome!! I'm sorry I didn't have anything to tell you about Chiang Mai though, when I was there it was only for 2 days, and my friends and I spent both days at a tattoo shop. What we were able to see from walking around was really cool, but we didn't get to check out any temples or landmarks or anything. It seems like you are doing pretty good figuring things out, and definitely having a good time there!!

Just finish exploring a week ago...and MBK center was including so many souvenirs and food. I was enjoying those foods. Did you find cotton Furby? My sister got one. I also got some cheap thrills over there. It's completely cheap and I also enjoy using those good stuff. It's my second time visiting Thailand. Yeah a stick of steak taste perfect. All I gotta do at there is shop and eat.

Jordan!! I saw the food court you were eating at in MBK and I believe that is a newer/more expensive food court(fifth avenue). There is another food court located on the 6th floor and that one is much cheaper and has been there for decades! Meals are like $1-$4! It's located at the very end of that floor. Hope this info makes sense or helps.

Thailand has most things on the internet, so it is best to research everything before you go. If you are on a budget, there are many cheap and decent hotels near a sky train station. Get an airport link into town, then a BTS to your hotel. Don't have to use a taxi or a tuk tuk. Tuk tuks in town centre are for tourists and you'll get done for being a tourist. Sky trains or underground trains (BTS, MRT maps online) are quick, cool and cheap. Bus is the cheapest. Street food, small restaurants along any road or ordinary markets are the best place for cheap food. Most shopping malls have a food court with prices similar to street food but some big malls are more expensive. Riverbus at Chao Phraya river is a must for visitors to Bangkok. It is cheap and a very enjoyable way to travel; for 15 baht you can sit for 90 mins and go all the way to another city.

You ended up on the wrong floor if you want cheap food. The fifth floor food court has the more expensive food. Visit the 6th floor food court for better prices.

The problem with boxes of protein - like chicken or pork - is that you need to overcome your reluctance to eat all the cooked fat and skin. What looks like a box of pork will probably have a load of shredded green veg and fat under it.

As an owner of G7X, I want to know what camera you are using because I first thought it was G7X then you say that you want a G7X. Your current camera produce a nice quality video too.
