@@spinneryourdinner When a game includes a store tab as the only means of monetisation, it results in the entire game being made around getting you to look at cosmetics or other items purchasable in said store tab (the "free" track serves the express purpose of interrupting your purely-gameplay experience with a funnel into a monetised event). Since the game is free-to-play, they aren't necessarily "wrong" for doing this (as it's the only means to an end of monetisation other than pay-to-win), but you aren't entitled to discrediting someone pointing out how predatory (compared to other industry standards such as Fortnite) a monetisation practice is, either. Instead of throwing around intelligence insults in an "us vs them" platitude like you just did, you could always try raising your IQ above sea level to think critically for a bit. ^-^

it feels like they laid off almost all of the apex dev teams except the store team. the store has 10x more updates to it than the actual game does, they're releasing new and innovative ways to funnel cash out of your pockets every split while the actual real content we get is smaller and rarer every season. kinda sad what apex is turning into, it feels like a scammy mobile game. gonna be sticking with marvel rivals for awhile.

Fr, apex needs add online tourneys, fix solo q + matchmaking, rank overhual and buff all the other classes, especially assault and skirmisher, to keep up with support, and then the game will feel refreshing again, but it really just needs love it from the art aspect. HAH I FUCKIN KNEW IT, ever si ce the event got announced, and I'm sure everyone else knew this too, but respawn, and every content creator that hyped up this event set up the whole "EARN heirloom shards" bit as actually earning them, but you need to "unlock" (buy) damn near every item in the event, at the very least spending around 100 dollars. Ridiculous, this games player count is still dwindling by the hour and all the devs care to do is scrape up as much cash as they can, its hilarious how the player count gets lower, and the amount of extremely expensive collection events increases and the devs just scratch their heads like, "Why do people not play our game anymore?" Maybe bc no body wants to play the slot machine game with an FPS minigame added to the main menu.

Milestone events would be a lot better, If they would let us direct buy the skins we want, and stop putting stickers in these events just to fill out how many different items there are, and give us better incentives to purchase the packs (which is what it seems like they’re trying to do with this current event.)
