DRS 37419 arrives at Beverley on 29.10.22 on the 3J51 Hatfield to Scarborough jetter then after a short pause carries on its way with 37422 on the rear. Various sounds and noises all roll into one inside the train shed as its disappears away into the darkness and it all goes silent again.
**********Thanks for watching this video anyone that does, am loving all the sarcastic comments from people who dont read the description or have any idea about how railways operate. Its not clickbait or touting for comments, it was very loud inside the train shed and any decent speakers will prove that. I upload videos for anyone to watch who may wish to do so after enjoying filming them myself. If you need disaster videos to help make your day then I suggest you click on such things on your keyboard warrior keyboards*********

I think it's fairly universal. These 37s are visceral; you feel them as well as hear and see them, they literally shake the ground. I think pretty much everyone, child, adult or elderly, looks up when one of these things comes past. The class 37 track testing train used to come by the back of my house when I lived in Blackburn Lancs and you could hear it from miles away.

Awesome video - brilliantly shot - really captures the raw power of the Class 37s - they're still my fave mainstream diesel work horse and have given well over 60yrs faultless service on every kind of mixed traffic work that they get put on. Well done on producing a simply incredible piece of modern railway video 👌🏻

Not long ago down on the south coast I stood at a crossing where i was about eye level with the spray of an rhtt pull. They were full blasting the track with supersonic jets of water and it was soo loud, even with ear protection, I had to run back as it went past, absolutely incredible.

I was on my way to Hull Fair on Saturday 14/10/23 and was detained by Walton Street Crossing. My vague displeasure evaporated when I heard a growl and saw a '37 was approaching. Actually 2x '37s with the jetter. I have seen the Jetter at Scarborough plat #1. Anything outside of DMUs is a pleasure and when '37s are involved... Sadly it was coming into Hull so I was denied hearing the driver open the taps.

Always a push pull as it's the Rail Head Treatment Train (RHTT) - ie track cleaner - and having locos at both ends means that it can cover all of the network, including single track routes in more remote areas

The only thing I found overpoweringly awesome about this video was its title. The diesels just pulled in, and left again. It's what diesels do. There are more interesting class 37 videos out there, with repeated bellows and turbine whines, for which they are well known. But here....? I agree with the 'clickbait comment'. Please reconsider you title.
@jammiebeasts
@jammiebeasts Жыл бұрын
After careful reconsideration I have decided that due to there being so much noise in the train shed from everything that was going on at the time and that it was so overpowering I couldnt hear and that it was awesome, that the title is very apt.
