As someone who watched 'The dark age of youtube' I can tell you first hand that it violated Zero community guidelines, provided meaningful criticism to youtube and insight into The Act Man's situation and was, infact, upholding said guidelines by enforcing them on a copyright abuser who has been known to have broken several other community guidelines. It's Insane that youtube would see this as such a threat as to strike it and completely remove it, I personally believe that youtube struck the video because it exposed youtube's incompetence and hypocrisy alongside their unwillingness to back down and help creators that are clearly in the right. It's happening with my father with Facebook. Long story short, he was selling our product through constant paid boosts on public sales groups, nothing bad. He tried expanding a bit more but the Facebook algorithm suddenly fucked him over and made him less relevant, from national scale to state or even city scale (We are Mexican). He tried paying for normal boosts back again, but Facebook told him he still owed one dollar, one fucking dollar. He tries to pay but Facebook tells him he has to verify his debit card, so they send a code in the bank statement. Problem is, the statement doesn't come with the code, so he is constantly paying them to the point he has given them 10 dollars and to no avail. So he can't do the normal sales boost because Facebook tells him he still has to pay them the 1.37 dollars. No number to call for costumer service, no human assistance, pure pre-written messages by an AI, and our sales dropped to the point that we used to have 30 a week, now we have 6 or 5 max. I've made a new account with a webpage, but it has done little. It could all be solved if Facebook told us wtf is going on, but no.

If KZbin continues to fail us by not removing Quantum, you may be able to take legal action against him for harassing your family. To be honest, if I was in your position, I would not tolerate KZbin's actions thus far. They do hold responsibility for the actions of their users if they do not enforce the rules on a violating user. Quantum's actions breach their terms, so everything he has done without being stopped since the first offense is on KZbin. I would take them to court too.

You had your mother threatened, The person who did it got away with it and then you lost your lively hood. I understand how emotions can lead to you making dumb decisions. As sad as it may sound I believe what happened was basically KZbin having a hissy fit because Act Man called them out for not doing their job. Rather than thanking him for bringing notice out to a particular KZbinr who breached the guidelines, whoever was in charge at the time instead got pissed because they hadn't been the ones to see the problems first. So instead they set their sights on Act Man and looked for the slightest most miniscule offence they could find in order to demonetise him. Once emotions got high and Act Man started making those tweets, KZbin decided to enter robot mode and take everything he said literally and remove his partnership. Unfortunately for them the backlash was huge, they were hoping there wouldn't as big a fuss as there was after their actions but eventually gave in and returned Act Man's partnership, obviously never admitting they ever made any mistakes, the ego is far to great for that. It's events like this the make you realise what KZbin employers are really like. They're not professional adults, just a bunch of kids that don't like being told what to do.

The fact that Mr. Act Man had his entire livelihood attacked by KZbin, and he has literally no idea what rule he broke or how, is a terrible way to live. He was right when he said that living in fear of the platform he's on randomly terminating him is unfair, especially since KZbin could solve this with very little effort on their part. KZbin took the side of the guilty party, and punished the innocent, then reversed their decision and took no further action. The guilty party is still guilty, and the innocent party now worries for his livelihood in every video he uploads. Come on, KZbin... Just do it. Apply the rules fairly and evenly. Make it very clear to the Act Man that this will not happen again, to him or other content creators on your platform that have literally been taught to fear you. Make it right, make your platform healthier, and both you and your creators are better off after. #JusticeForTheActMan
