There is literally a type of ADHD that only affects impulsivity, rather than impulsivity and focus or hyperactivity. This is literally the same as drunk people being mad at nothing, or sad over old news. Impaired executive function means you have less ability to stop yourself from taking impulsive actions. He still absolutely has to take responsibility for his actions, cultivate an environment that helps him manage his symptoms, and apologize when he acts out. There's a positive way to interact with people like Pyro, which is to just remind them what's going on so they can reflect later. His recent videos and meltdown over what started as him talking down to his own viewers and huffing his own farts in regards to low view streamers. The mask hasn't just slipped, he took it off and threw at his audience for having the audacity to call him out on his own shit. So I have relatively severe ADHD. Without a doubt, it really does suck and it's difficult to handle. It absolutely fucks with my emotional regulation, my ability to accomplish tasks and stay committed to things, and I can get burnt out and overwhelmed a lot easier than most. It's not my fault that I have ADHD, and it's not Pyro's fault that he has ADHD. BUT it is my responsibility to effectively manage it. I've lived with this for all of my life; it's my job to recognize and manage my symptoms. I can tell when I'm allowing my emotions to get the better of me in a situation and I'll take a breather. As much as I hate it, I've come to accept that I won't always be able to be as productive as I want, so I focus on the necessary stuff and handle that first. I can tell when I'm getting overstimulated and overwhelmed, so I remove myself from shitty situations. I don't doubt that there are reasons why Pyro is like this. However, there are reasons why everybody is the way they are. But those are reasons, not excuses. All he wants is for his mental health to be accepted as a handwave excuse for any behavior. He needs to own up to his shit and be better.

The part of all this that is getting to me is he says sorry, and he will change, but then goes right back to it and blames a mental issue that people deal with everyday and don't act and behave like this. Have a kid with it, and never once have they acted and behaved like this. I wish he would stop blaming adhd for this and just accept that he is immature and that he is still living in his high school days where drama was a part of life. As adults, do people still care what people are saying behind each others back. Here's reality people will always talk stuff behind your back, and I don't have time to care what's being said. As long as it's not involving family or affecting my life in any way, I'm not gonna go out of my way to find out what people are saying about me. Or get offended by people reacting to things I say after all people are entitled to their opinions does make them right or wrong for having them.

To be fair I think he blocks people preliminarily. I haven't messaged anyone I've blocked on Discord, but I assume it would give you a notification. Also, I genuinely think he doesn't want to chat over Discord - he wants to do it on stream for views. During "the chair" issue he kept saying he wished Xeems would come on his stream "like an adult" etc which makes it very obvious he's doing a lot of this for views.

I have a friend in school that has ADHD (or was it ADD - or both). The person lived in their own world and would often cause drama (arguing with teachers, being an annoyance in class by making random sounds, making rude comments out loud). However, I some how tolerate it early on and talked to him about it. I also often made suggestions on courses of action (such not throwing his necklace around into the darkness because he might lose it - he threw it into darkness and lost it).

"classic don't feed the troll" actually not in this case. Pyro got mental problems. feeding into the drama is actually dangerous for pyro. Ever went into some form of conflict on social media and your consistently checking to see if the other person responded. Constantly have anxiety and stress over what words the other person is typing out to you? Where your every thought is waiting and checking to see. This is very bad for your health and I do not mean this metaphorically. That is where the mental illness comes from. so what happens when you keep "feeding" into a drama on a person who is already unhinged mentally. Stoking the fire. You will put that person into a constant state of distress. A troll is doing it for pure entertainment. Finding joy in riling people up. A troll has ZERO investment into what they are doing so they can detached themselves from any consequences. pyro ain't trolling and thus its dangerous to his health.
