This song and Penny Lover are special to me. The love of my life use to sing them to me. He passed unexpectedly at the age of 35, 39 years ago next month. To this day I've never got over him. Sometimes I just have to go back to these songs to hold him closer to my heart. Prayers for your love. It's hard to give them up.

This song was Lionel Richie's second Top 10 hit as a solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100 during the early winter of 1983. The song peaked at the #4 spot. By the way, one of the backup singers on this song was a young Richard Marx before he hit it big a singer-songwriter himself later on in the 1980s. This song is a definitely banger indeed!!!

Love Lionels Voice. I'm a Rocker by heart. A Metal Head if you will. However. I'm also a musician of almost 40 years. So I have an appreciation for all kinds of music and when I say al I mean ALL. I'm a Bassist so I love the Groove. My first love as a kid in the 70's was Motown and Elvis. Then came KISS.

"Love Will Find a Way" is so smooth and they would love it. Actually depending on where your from "Ballerina Girl" in 1986 was his last top 10 hit peaking at #7. "Say You, Say Me" was a #1 hit in 1985, "Dancing On the Ceiling" was a #2 hit in 1986 along with "Love Will Conquer All" #9. All of those charted higher than "Love Will Find A Way". From 1987 to 1996 several top 20 and top 40 hits. He went well into the 90's. He also continued to do well on the R&B and Adult Contemporary charts in the 90's and 2000's having Top 20 hits in 2000, 2006, 2007 and 2009 on one or both of those charts.
