A tip with your flash cards (I'm a cognitive psych/instructional design ph.d student): have someone drill through the cards with you. I'm assuming you put the terms on the front and explanation on the back so that you can do this. Anyway, the terms you remember go into one pile and put aside. The terms you misse are the things you continue through over and over until you remember them. The goal is to get yourself to go through your flash cards and remember all of them, and this is better than going through all of them, because the more you see the terms you don't remember, the more you are able to refresh your memory and encode them into long-term to remember. Also, KEEP HANDWRITING NOTES. It helps you encode things into memory better than typing them.

Good tips (neuropsychologist here)! And also really focus on trying to actually remembering what is on the other side, not just turning the flashcard and reading it. The more you challenge your memory, the more the info is going to stuck, if that makes sense. Good luck !

For cute flat boots that aren’t too dressy or too casual I recommend the Dr. Martens Flora boots! They have a bit of a lug sole but not too much, and they are waterproof. I got mine on amazon for a pretty good price too!
