If you want a very long and very thorough fic about broppy's entire relationship, before and after they got together, Ive currently been reading Picturebook romance by Dreamsinger. I havent even dived much into other fics on ao3 yet b/c i'm continuously just reading that one rn ahdahf Warning: It does have smut but i'm like 30 chapters in and havent hit anything super explicit yet so you could always stop be4 that. And the author does switch to 1st person only for Branch's POV (which was almost a deal breaker for me, i hate 1st person😭 ) but they explain why and its not bad one you get used to it.

Honestly, the Trolls franchise deserves it. Their movies are genuinely enjoyable and fun, and if you don't like them then they're not meant for you! DreamWorks movies are usually really amazing in general, but we gotta talk about the first one for a minute; Good message even though it was a bit dark. We all understood the symbolism behind "eating a troll" right? Also, the second movie had a good message about how we're all equal despite having different cultures and we can't live under one culture but we can still be equal, and they didn't want to get race involved so they just did "Music tastes" to tell the story. The third one was just a fun movie that brought the family together but also kind of taught a message that "You don't need to be perfect to be in harmony" which I thought was really cute, despite the goofy characters and that subtle dirty joke Bridget made about getting tied up. Teaching lessons is what DreamWorks does! Disney just does fairytale adaptations and makes girls think that some guy is going to rescue them and they'll get married at 14-16. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of Disney and I think we need to appreciate the good things that DreamWorks does!

As someone who's mainly an AO3 person, I do recommend "The Eldest and the Youngest." Very good fanfic, and yeah there is an "I just lost a limb' trauma mini-arc. There's also "You're all I ever needed", which is where everyone thinks their brothers are dead until suddenly they get a clue that others are alive and find each other, lots of angst and hope, they're almost to finally reuniting with Branch. Also, Branch is Autistic compilations live rent-free in my head.

I mean, I always found the first two movies really fascinating in concept, I loved the idea of a society where one person convinced EVERYONE that you can only experience emotion via this very specific thing that I'm in control of, literally brainwashing an entire species into thinking they NEED her to exist in the full scope of...Well, being a fully rounded feeling _being,_ and the second movie fascinated me with it's commentary on how not every music type is for everyone, but it's important to have them all, because music is human expression and all humans are different. I also kinda just revolve my life around music and it's part of the core of my being at this point so naturally I got super invested in these stories, whoops

I watch the first movie way back in 2016 with my mum and I cried so much I don't know what scene did it to me likely at the end, but I think the reason why was that year was hell for me so to see a movie full of hope and joy just was something I really needed at the time. But I had no idea a fandom would spawn this massive from it so at some point I need to dive into it and see all the cool creative stuff that's been made and such.

After the drama happened, some of them claimed they didn't know, some of them ignored and didn't apologize, it was getting very messy. This happened like right after second movie, and after Trollstopia dropped with more funk characters
