The line was ... on the day that Curtis died, nobody came to pray. Old preacher man said some words, and they chucked him in the clay. They came of what is now Orange Park Florida ( not Jacksonville as most think). The road sign for brick yard road was stolen so much that they encased it in concrete. Call me the breeze is another great song.

Might not be correct grammar but down south it's CHUNKED. I just looked up the lyrics and that's what it says. Same thing I've been singing for 50 years when i sing along to one of my favorite Skynyrd tunes.

It's the same county the largest county in the country, that's why Jacksonville claims them because they're the largest big city near where are they started. They started covering Allman Brothers tunes, until they met the Allman Brothers which inform them that they need to make their own music.

Listen to the chorus of "Soul to Squeeze" and then do the same with this song. The accents are way different, but there is a similarity in tone. Kiedis's voice is deeper, and Van Zant's has more twang.

Rock music was borne from soul, rhythm & blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz. The one spot on the map where all those things came together in the 1950's was Memphis TN. 20 years later you can hear all those influences in bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd
