I’m from that generation which means I’ve been watching for a few decades. I never understood why so many Jews were Democrats. The places they have been most safe are the most conservative Protestant places, at least in America.

I found that discomfort with Jewish success was schooled out of me early by South Asian Muslims in 1990's London genuinely mistaking me for a Jew and being "racist" or deliberately mislabelling as a means of abuse. Not so much the virtue of being able to put your self in somebody else shoes, rather more like being shoe horned into them and learning from that instead. Yet in spite of that Jews in the UK were mainly Left and pro mass migration. What has also changed in London UK is that the "diplomatic immunity" of being a white man walking between Black v Muslim hatred has gone with identity politics 2000+ so I do not go there...and there has been some shift in Jewish opinion but not enough.
