My opinion..... It's Nacon.... you see a stream with over 100k viewers, you're gonna think its a good game, you are going to tune in, and chances are.... buy the game. Also my opinion.... Nacon are on the edge. Their stock prices have plummeted 37.47% since this game launched. Now lets not forget - this is the game that bought them RECORD pre-orders, a game that was what 4 years in the making? A lot of hype surrounding this game, and i think it was make or break for Nacon. I doubt very much this game will see it's first birthday, or - they will give people what they want, an offline mode, and drop it. No further updates. This game COULD have had a fighting chance, we've seen fiasco's before that have turned around, Cyberpunk comes to mind. Where did Nacon go wrong? Simple.... They continually lie They have the worst communication i have ever known. They DON'T listen to their consumers (despite saying they do) 3 sure fire ways to alienate your playerbase and destroy a business. Never will i buy a Nacon product again, this includes peripherals. That shouldn't be too much of a challenge though because i cant see them existing in 12 months. They should have just made a statement saying you know what..... we got it wrong, but we are going to make it right, and follow through with that. Give the people an action plan and show evidence of it being achieved regularly. Nacon are doomed.

@@KingdomTwelve I don't think they are view botting maliciously. I think they are view botting as it's going to be a cheap and effective method of marketing. The reviews are awful, so chances are, people streaming the game actually enjoy it so will speak positively about it. Higher viewer numbers means the stream is suggested to more people. This will draw in actual viewers, and potentially convert into a sale on the day, or a future sale. 100k live stream bot viewers is just under 1k USD. I don't know how much TDU SC is in the US, so I'm gonna guess $50. If they net 20 sales (which is virtually nothing) across a combination of platforms it's available on. Then it's paid for itself. Any further sales are pure profit. I genuinely would be surprised if Nacon wasn't behind this.

Whatever the current daily player count is for Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown, I feel like there's gotta be at least as many classic TDU fans like myself who haven't yet bought Solar Crown but are waiting for it to add more of the classic TDU features like houses, the casino, and especially offline single-player mode at which point we will probably buy it (should the game even live long enough to get those features) so, yes, there are those of us who haven't bought the game who are still interested in watching TDU Solar Crown videos to see the current state of the game. But probably not hundreds of thousands of non-players, just maybe a couple of thousand non-players at most.

@@Cakebattered I was just providing a couple of examples of "classic" TDU features that are missing from the game at launch. I know it wasn't a complete list but it was already a run-on sentence as it was. Another "feature" from past TDU games that I'd want back in TDU Solar Crown is un-nerfed FRIM since there should be absolutely no daily limits on how much in-game currency you can earn through gameplay in a game that isn't free-to-play.

Yes, that's right. As an old TDU fan, this game simply lacks the TDU DNA, the soul of the series. I don't see why I should buy this game in this state. And to be honest, I can't imagine how they're going to fix it. The problems haven't just been known since release. The community has been criticising the lack of TDU DNA from the very beginning, ever since the first gameplay was shown about a year ago. And practically nothing has changed since then. Another point for me is the demo a few months before release. It was a complete disaster. Back then, the game's defenders insisted that it was an old build and that the finished game would be much better and more optimised. We all know how that turned out by now...

So, here to offer some insight. purely by coincidence I stumbled onto this vid, but here we go. I follow another creator, not to be named for reasons. They stream variety, random triple A games, not even racing games, and this has been happening to them for a few weeks now too. In short, I think you are being targeted for being in a specific bracket of view count. Let's say the 250-2k bracket or somewhere thereabouts. It seems to be a neural network situation type of deal, so you were spot on with that. The views aren't "real" bots, those actually count towards analytics. My somewhat educated guess is it's probably just kids having fun. Then again, could also be DPRK or USSR shit.
