So which one is the Best?

Thought I would try these two to see what was was the best, Aldi at 85p or Iceland at £1, both 400g.
Well to be honest there’s not a lot of difference in my opinion, both nice so scored them both 8/10

Liked the comparison video Andy always interesting to watch. And a draw seems a fair score 8/10 very decent scores. I'm not a huge sweet and sour but at a comparatively small amount of money might just try one.

Aldi have had there version now 85p in the shop for years it was cheaper than that at the start. but that was when Iceland did 500g for a pound size boxes.

Its remarkable how cheaply manufacturers can purchase raw ingredients, cook them with herbs and spices from a specific recipe, portion them into plastic trays, package them into cardboard boxes, pay staff to do all of this, pay city taxes on your business premises, transport the food to the outlets and sell for 85 pence.

This is what we need cheap vs cheap. the aldi one can just be eaten out of the carton with out needing to wash a plate. there may look very little price difference 85p vs £1 but it is the same weight. I get the Aldi one. i find it really nice taste. the bigger factor is if getting for a family of 4 and you cant make it yourself. 4x 85 = £3.40 vs 4 x £1 or £4. so a 60p saving for what is so close to being the same product. this is were families can make the saving and help there pockets All Iceland have done is put it in a bigger box to make it look like a bigger product.

Great review, mate👍. I like the comparison vids..more please! I'd go for the Aldi meal. It's not the 15p, it's the packaging. Less plastic has to be a good thing, and it helps with the pricing ☝️.

I had that aldi one before not enough sauce so when i had stirred it half way through it was all mixed into the rice and was like rice with a hint of sweet and sour sauce flavour lol was awful i think i fucked it up by mixing it too much into the rice though tbf but then even when served rice seperate like that would just be eating mostly plain rice as there isnt enough sauce for the rice

great to so someone local with the same accent as me i work construction all over the place wit guys from all over i have took some flack for it esp the ooo arr farmer jokes LOL but im proud of it my family born in Devon move to east coast in the late 1940s obviously growing up with grandparents then parents with a devon.suffolk accent its a accent people find rarely lol as time goes on the niece and nephew have lost it as its been diluted but im very proud of my accent even my misses of 13 yrs cant understand me rarely lol

Good it comes with rice. I was in co op the other day and you had to buy the rice separately. Co op is fairly pricey I don't normally go there but I was desperate for some dinner 😂😂😂
