This is what i realized after 5 years of working for the same company. I worked 60-80 hr weeks, thinking my competence would eventually catch up to my workload 😂 then I realized I wouldn’t ever “catch up” - and that was the moment I decided to go elsewhere. Now I definitely have busy weeks, but I have full discretion to hire someone if I think it’s necessary.
