My end game was always to wipe the Zirax from the Universe! I built forward bases and space stations, a bunch of ships and tank HV's. I would go to a planet and destroy and salvage all Zirax bases then build my HQ on the planet out of one of the Zirax POI's.

I loved this tutorial series, and a breakdown of the late-game expectations is a welcome addition. I will say that I absolutely love Pioneer Outpost, and it is easily one of the best put-together and well-organized bases I've seen. Here's hoping Eleon creates a late game experience later on that really expands the game

i tink i never played more than 5 hours of vanilla...i started right away with reforged galaxy/project eden and later with RE when YT wanted me 2 watch your content :D! big thumbs up and i think your vids are the reason im now 1k hours into RE and Empyrion haha

Hey Spanj, I’m sure you knew this already and maybe just forgot, you don’t need to flip any of the switches at Sigma Fulcrum. Once you complete the mission at the console, the doors on either side of the Core open up revealing the loot while also exposing the core so you can destroy it with weapons. I love your vids, keep up the awesome work 😊

Before you completely wind down this series, perhaps you could do an episode on starting RE. Less of a mission walkthrough and more of a "what's different" "what to expect" how to set up a creative scenario, stuff like that.

I was more just thinking if someone new to the game was watching this series and heard the veterans talking about RE, it might be nice for them to get a quick word about what it is, why people love it so much and how to get in on the action. I guess I wasn't really thinking about how difficult it is to say anything more about RE than "It's a mod, it's fun, it's on the workshop" without going down the deep, deep rabbit hole of what it changes and what to expect beyond "more difficulty" which would be selling it short by a lot.

I was quite happy to see 'to be continued' when I reached the end of the GLaD missions. I was left with more questions than answers. And I guess I'm one of those who gets bored once I'm no longer told what to do. I just feel lost in that huge galaxy without a clear direction. But you will see me next time. I might get bored by doing, but not by watching. And nice base. It's not old, it's classic. And not overly expensive.

yea the story is now for a realy long time in this state and allways little bit sad to see there is no progress. I would realy like to see more, get things explained, tell a story.. find the rest of the fleet.. build new ships or even better repair those who could flee arm them equipt them.. find a way home.. find a way to fight the legacy. Be honored as an ambassador from the earth fleet who was hiding somewhere. Go out with the mission to visit every factions homeworld. talk to their leaders. make piece (or war) or find them neutral. But good to trade special equipment or ships only sold from them to you only. Find a way home to earth and get a cutscene at the end where you finaly come back. In between al of this Build a Colonie and call it Earth II :P Make and Place 10.000 Beds. 5000 Showers and Toilets for 5000 appartments with a Kitchen and a TV. Life a live.. play after a cutscene as your now adult child to grow in a galaxy your parant brought at war or at piece or rescued from the legacy (or non or all of it) Well.. some day.. maybee...the "to be continued" will be replaced with something interresting. With luck the reload and scope lags are fixed first. ;)

in a perfect world, I would mash together the building of Space engineers, with the world/story/mechanics of Empyrion. I love me some wheeled rovers, but I need me a reason to have them.

This game is like if space engineers and no man sky had a weird janky baby, but like we all would prefer the mechanics to be more polished like the games it is similar to.

i had an idea that autominers should be actual bases with the autominer being a device you place on the base. that way you could have teleporters built in, be able to use f4, and even have a furnace automatically refine the ore as it mines. you could make the mining base as simple or complex as you want it.

Auto logistics would be nice, even if it uses some foncy teleporter tech or something, fetching and refuelling autominers is more tedious than mining I think

The Sigma base "battle" needs a bit of tweaking from Eleon, as the base turrets were taking out all the "bad guys" while I was wandering around. A result of the new factions conflict mechanic. Also the Sigma asteroid is chock-a-block with promethian and pentaxid, giving you oodles of both, more than a regular asteroid.

Returning player here. I have figured one thing out about the game. "SPANJ is the devil" (Using my best Louisiana Cajun accent) I quit playing Empyrion almost a year ago, for other survival games, whose titles will not be spoken, because I deleted Empyrion to fit one of them on my old dedicated 500GB drive, and Ark, did not fit with Riftbreaker, The Infected, Anno 1808, and the other one I cannot think of. (Crap, I said I would not mention them. I finally installed a new 2 TB drive and moved my Steam files. Then I discovered this video and fought the urge to reinstall. I fought hard for several episodes that I binge watched. I downloaded the game from my steam library, and opened it up in to a new creative game, because I had a new starter base design that I absolutely had to get built. Then I had my fateful discovery. All of the rebuilt ships, and long line of bases that I had saved to blueprints and not published were gone! I did have my RE CV that I published to share with a friend, but that was it. My Leviathon, that I tweaked to my liking which took several hours, was GONE>!!! You are the devil. Love the video, keep up the great work.

Its not only you with Buy and Sell.. for example in Eve Online its exactly the same and its exactly the same mindbending naming sceme you have to explain again and again to new players. But there you can make your owne player made orders and its now clear what ever you see in the list is allways sold or bought from the market places perspevtive as an offer to you... But those one "s" at the end would make it more clear.. and maybee a Market or Trader in the View plus sells or buys...

If you flip the correct switches on Sigma Fulcrum, not all of them, it will only destroy the core and not that entire room. The "code" for the switches will be found, throughout the mission, on the walls of the space station.

I started a new game and at level 4 I got a base attack. It was 3 mini gun drones, a rocket drone, and a bomber. I only had a pistol.

IRC if your solo the gamefield stops when you leave the area , if your Multiplayer the gamefield stops after 20mins and then your safe again. The pros will know better than me though.

nope, attacks only happen when you are within 200m iirc of your base

I just whipped out the virtual caca-lator to double check your work and while 240*48%=115.2 115.2*16=1843.2 So disregarding the walk time from the bed to the miner there is still 1K + element that has floated off to El Plz Fix land. *** Or did I math that wrong? ***

@@waterandsteel4713 I'm guessing the "Sleep 8 hours" is planetary hours which would vary with the length of the day on a planet, while the auto miners use RL hours.

@@CrashM85 8 hours is 8 hours, planet side or outer space. But if the bed uses game time and the miners use IRL time that reeeeally nerfs the usefulness of the bed.

My problem with the game is there is no way to affect the world past the story line. Cant build an empire. Cant build a company. Cant really do much for an "open world"
