And I really love how they're helping to keep the desire for high horsepower, internal combustion engines in the market today, when everyone else is moving to lifeless, boring electric cars. However, they did not say that they were going to stop making SRT vehicles, the badge and trim level itself is still going to be around, and the engineers are still working on varying products; however, there just isn't a concentrated team on it (like Ford with SVT).

Just a tip, I own a 2020 Hellcat with summer performance tires on it and have 0 problems driving in the rain. You just can't floor it, drive it like a normal mom suv and you're completely safe and wont even notice any traction issues.

With Bridgestone Blizzak tires I used to drive my 300 SRT (500HP) all through the Canadian winter. Tires make the difference. If you can afford the FatCat you can afford the tires I'm sure.

I been wantin a SRT8 since 2010. When Dodge put out the Hellcat, i was obsessed. Now it’s my dream car legit, and I kno everyone else is like “Oh yea it’s overrated” and I say “yea kuz they see them in rap videos and other media, I always wanted a SRT for the longest” I don’t want a Redeye either kuz Idc bout racing, I jus want my baby 💯😢 maybe a Demon doe lol, but after that, just a regular model and no widebody. If you got one of those, would it be your first 400+ horsepower car? Would it be a daily driver? If so, I'd suggest avoiding a Demon (at least for now). That's a lot of power, but with a higher price, lower gas mileage, and (probably) higher maintenance costs. Personally, I get the feeling that an SRT8 would cover what you're looking for in a car. You could always put some of the money saved towards modifications AND -- if applicable -- pay off the loan a lot sooner (more money in your pocket rather than the lender's).

I work at a dodge dealership body shop . They always need quarter panels due to driver error so you might want to check the quarter trough for the factory resistance welds . They are also super easy to break into with a flat head screwdriver (chargers too)so heads up.

Fun fact. The Splitter Guards on the Dodge Challengers DON’T damage anything by not being removed. The splitter isn’t carbon, or painted, or any finished surface. It’s a plastic splitter that is easily scrapeable so the guards actually DO help on a challenger. Hate to break it to y’all 😂.

It all depends on what you want. The Hellcat is more spacious, nicer and comfier on the inside, and easier to see out of. It's also bigger and doesn't give a damn about corners. The Camaro on the other hand is a purpose built sports car. It takes corners better than most other cars on the road and feels better to drive aggressively with better steering, brakes, chassis balance, etc.
