Churry Europe has amazing events as parts of land are abandoned with buildings. If you are in the US it’s fairly difficult to find a good place if you aren’t in a well populated area and most will still be dedicated to paintball and not airsoft

It’s called a “kill flash” I have one on my ssg 10 a1 as well. The reason he can still see out of it is that the metal over the scope lens is so thin it doesn’t effect the zoomed in view. Your welcome. 😁

Along with being extremely thin slats across the lens, it also does a good job of protecting the lens from large debris, while also preventing the sun from glaring off the glass

Not only is it thin as others mentioned, but it is so near the objective, and far from the focal plane, that light rays diffract around the slat partitions and still make their way into the scope. You can try this yourself... With a scope or binoculars put a small object in front while focused 50 yards away. Move it 3", 6", a foot... Eventually you will start to see it in the field of view but it's non-intuitive.

If you wanted a standard VSR - 10 you probably can buy one for around 70-80 dollars, however the performance you will get won't even get close. You would need to buy: A barrel: $30-100 dollars. New hop up: $6-10 New hop up chamber: $30-40 90 Degree trigger release: $100 Piston: $30-40 Spring: $10 And the know how to install those parts. I bought a sniper a long time ago I don't use it, because of the amount of money and time I would have to put in to it. But you won't get that 25 year warranty which is insane if you think about how many mechanical failures Airsoft guns have. P.S. I tried working on an AEG, after 10 hours I said f it and paid for it.

@@mango614 I can tell you do not tech on snipers. A well tuned VSR with a Bull trigger and all of the upgrade parts will cost you about $1,000 in the end. I'm amazed he even makes a profit with how cheap it is.
