One of the things I like about Silo's sniper videos is he doesn't aim for the head like most of the other ones I watch. They all claim the same thing: "The head was the only thing visible," but in the videos they tend to be able to see and shoot at their entire torso, if not their whole body. I commend Silo for actually following that policy and not being a dick when it comes to face shots.

I've started watching your vids, really great stuff and entertaining even though I know nothing about airsoft. I did paint balling when I was young but this looks way cooler! You make it look so easy and seem so unchallenged. Your opponents mostly look stationary or are just walking around oblivious to what's happening. Good vision, well tuned rifle that is pretty quiet, *being aware of your surroundings*(sooo many people run around with tunnel vision), reading what enemy is up to from their movements and relocating before you are about to be discovered gets you long way. Also good secondary for CQC and grenade for room clearing is extremely valuable. Maybe a buddy or mine to secure your 6. Of course your kit must reflect your play style ie uniform that allows good movement, but protects knees and elbows, rig that is light weight and only has what you really need, face protection that allows full use of scope and quick aiming of the weapon, with out worry of taking hits into face and sturdy boots, that can save your leg from surgical operation if you take a fall, like buddy of mine did couple weeks ago. With out ankle protecting/supporting boots he would have titanium screws in his leg and whole ordeal of broken bones, but he survived with just sprained ankle and 6 weeks of sick leave. Of course this light gear setup will cause you to take hits that more likely will hit into tender areas, but that is his calculated risk and being sniper he should rarely be in CQC, but thats not so exiting to watch.
