Hello! Do you use oil from the original weight of oils to mix the colors or can you use a lower super fat and add the colored oil for extra moisture? Or is it a small enough amount that it doesn’t matter?

So with all those colors you are actually adding that many more tablespoons of oil to your soap batter?

It's just superfatting the soap a bit more
@3riversgirl7774 жыл бұрын
yup its just superfatting, it all gets saponified
@rollmeinrice4 жыл бұрын
If you are worried about over fatting your soap you can use your batch oils to blend your mica, but then you need to add it ALL back into your soap.

Will you be available to show the heat pad I'm new and still learning. Please
@Rabbithavenstitchery4 жыл бұрын
I've heard you can just wrap soap in a towel and leave indoors in a warm room, don't really need the heat pad. That is optional for soap making. I don't even do that. I just leave it out, or throw a hand towel over it.

You will have to use an oil calculator, but you can make your own oil mix using babassu oil up to 30%, or beeswax up to 8%. I've never tried doing so, just going with what I've read online. One of my friends is allergic to coconut. She breaks out in hives if she uses soap with coconut in it.
