I 100% wear a mask when using SLSA. No matter how careful you are, it gets into the air and it definitely effects me. I first thought it would be fine and didn't wear a mask, I coughed for hours afterwards. Definitely recommend a mask!

I accepted the challenge and made a Mint Chocolate Chip Bubbling Bath Scoop. I followed this recipie, but added the chocolate chip chunks. I used 4 oz clear melt and pour soap with 1/2 t of cocoa powder. Turned out amazing!!! #BrambleOn

I make these bath truffles in all different scents all the time for gifts for my colleagues. They are a big hit. I just use fractionated coconut oil instead of the extract and whatever scent I want. I tend to use unrefined cocoa butter so I try to use scents that go well with the chocolate smell. So easy and they make the best bubbles.

You can omit the cream of tartar, it just helps the bubbles! You can always add a little more citric acid or baking soda to help with that. Shrink wrapping your bath truffles should help keep them together, but if you're worried, we would recommend you use something more solid like jars! If you do choose to shrink wrap, it might be a good idea to throw in some silica packets to absorb an excess moisture during the shipping process!

I like watching Amanda, very informative. Could you tell me if we made a bubble bar could we sell them?? It’s just I was informed by royalty soaps that Lush owns the name and pattern. I make a bubble bath bomb sand ( 1-2tsp for normal baths or 1/2-1tsp for in home tub spa baths)

I was thinking the same thing about the total cost of the recipe itself. She used 15 ounces of SLSA and they charge $25.85 for 28 ounces. The SLSA alone is $13.85. It is a fairly large batch but the price of the SLSA still makes me say...Ouch! Lol Cutting back the SLSA to at least half would still make a lot of bubbles from one scoop. : )

I did a breakdown on the cost. If you purchase their kit at $85.00 you will make about 18 truffles. Each truffle will cost $4.70 to make. However, you will have a lot of some ingredients left over. I also did a "per ounce" breakdown and that came out to $2.74 each to make.
