I 100% wear a mask when using SLSA. No matter how careful you are, it gets into the air and it definitely effects me. I first thought it would be fine and didn't wear a mask, I coughed for hours afterwards. Definitely recommend a mask!

I make these bath truffles in all different scents all the time for gifts for my colleagues. They are a big hit. I just use fractionated coconut oil instead of the extract and whatever scent I want. I tend to use unrefined cocoa butter so I try to use scents that go well with the chocolate smell. So easy and they make the best bubbles.

A few great substitutes would be Chamomile Extract, Green Tea Extract or Watermelon Extract. Here's the link to the rest of our extracts: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/additives-and-lye/extracts?prefn1=UseInBathBomb&prefv1=Yes&start=0&sz=12

I used this exact recipe and after I made my scoops, they all expanded into big “cookies”! Where did I go wrong…maybe a measurement was wrong? Not sure which ingredient causes it to expand or not?

Can use a mold instead of using an ice cream scoop?
@bramble-berry
@bramble-berry 4 жыл бұрын
We have tried this recipe in a silicone mold, with moderate results. Depending on the size of your mold, they will take a few days to harden and dry in the mold. We recommend using a mold without any small details, as the mixture will get stuck.

What can I substitute cocoa butter for?

You could sub in mango or avocado butter! If you do, make sure you make a small test batch first to see if you like how the truffles turn out. And if you do, be sure to tag us with #BrambleOn so we can see your creation!
