Female recording artists are producing wave upon wave of killer material: Fiona, Phoebe Bridgers, Lana, Angel Olsen(my fav), Billie etc. The grammy female tsunami is well deserved. Soccer Mommy is part of this movement as well.

people who complain about "today's music" are just wrong. I landed on this video 3 minutes ago, and listened to an intelligent, talented artist who has her own great music - run through 5 bands and albums that all sounded great to me. I listened, copied and pasted, and will now go add them to my Amazon music queue, and if they stick to me, I'll buy them. OH, and check out Soccer Mommy's great song "Lucy" Adore it !

As much as I'd like to think the early 2000s were yesterday, they aren't and certain things, like tech for example, are moving much faster now than ever, so it's not really shocking that people my age or younger consider 20 years to be a long time ago. Landlines in every home, internet access was not a guarantee, CDs were still the most popular form of music, and people still watched Much Music/MTV for new music. Again, not even remotely surprising that a Gen Z would consider that archaic.

I like that she doesn’t have any tattoos (at least when I saw her). I see so many covered in them I didn’t even realize how much I disliked them until I saw her....if that makes any sense. Once she loses the nose ring she’ll be perfect! Lol. Color Theory is a terrific album.
