Updating Maria's achievements, she is currently the highest paid soccer player in the NWSL, renewed by Houston Dash for 3 more years. As for the Mexican team, she has achieved a gold medal in the Central American Games and a gold medal in the Pan American Games, with her being the captain in this last tournament, her hopes of progress for the Mexican team are looking good, the women's gold cup is next and the mexican team its qualified, there will see hopefully more accomplishments, and from there the hope of a World Cup as hosts with the United States, 21/12/23.
