It’s nuts! Everything is so thin these days, even if they are leather. These really are a nice change of pace, and really do stand out because of their padded feel. Even if they aren’t k-leather.

@@omrac I think leather boots are gonna be more of appealing a niche crowd taking away anyone that are 30 or older also a crowd that consists of some odd younger people that wants to transitioned to leather boots or like us boot nerds then trying to go for the general audience.. adidas knows this very well hence why they haven’t killed off the copa mundial alongside releasing the predator remakes,modern copa series and the budget friendly copa gloro

I've been using the adidas nemesis 17+ since 2020, and I have to say that boot is really holding up well. It's always the least expected boot that gives the best ROI

I just picked up the new pred 25 elites on a warranty claim from copa pure 2’s that separated from the seam. I saw these boots and had to grab them too. The preds def have longer, more aggressive studs with a synthetic upper and grip elements, they seem perfect for wetter climates with softer grounds. The new copa’s have shorter, more conical studs and a sock like fit. I would say if you are in a drier climate with hard ground you might wanna go for those. Ultimately, both are great and you be happy with either imo. Go half size down on the copa’s tho

So looking forward to the AG version of this. Looking for something pillowy and cushioning as I've gone off the barefoot feel. So glad that they've concentrated on comfort. Still need to try it, but I'm calling it as the boot of the year. MIJ Mizuno is overated in my opinion. I found the leather on the copa pure 2 to be softer. Honestly don't get the hype but each to their own.

I can live with any leather types which I agree K-leather is superior but my minor gripe is that it isn't a full leather upper or have leather in the midfoot area but then you have similar great boots with the synthetic midfoot like the Mizuno Morelia Neo series or Asics DS X Light Fly series

I’ve reached out multiple times to Asics regarding bringing in some of their latest boots to try, and they’ve expressed to me that they have no interest in shipping their football boots outside of Asian markets at the moment. From what I’ve tried from them in the past when they were available globally, they make some good stuff. It just sucks that the availability for the rest of the world isn’t better. Granted, when they were available here, sales were poor.

They’ve so different when it comes to fit and feel though. Don’t get me wrong, the Neo 4 Elites are great, but they so much thinner and with more of a speed boot style of fit and feel compared to the Copas. I just don’t think it’s a great comparison.

hey ,a Gk i bought a pair of copa pure 2 elite turf model last year and they turned out to be one of the best pair of boots ever, I wanted a new pair for FG I had decided on pure 2 but as now pure 3 have been released which is actually worth it for a GK and which stud pattern is better for grip on FG and AG(occasionally playing on AG) BTW copa pure's are always lovely and beautiful love your vids❤

Yes. It’s a more forgiving shape and with more softer materials than what was used on the Pure 2 Elite 👍

@jamaalanderson1126 no amigo, that is an FG pattern through and through, brands will cheap out and just release something like that as AG. But too few studs, and they are way too long for AG. A true AG has double the amount of studs, that are shorter, and are hollow

The studs are all conical with an additional stud on lateral side. The length is also shorter than the torsion frame studs from the previous copa’s. Seems like that was done intentionally to be MG I guess. Also the AG boots adidas produced this season only had one more stud than these.

Adidas copy Nike Tiempo Legend 9 Elite for sure. TL9 are my favorite boots.

They definitely have a similar feel to the Legend 9s. Would I call them a copy though, not at all. The Legend 9 is great, but I can’t say it was a particularly unique boot. If you make a simple leather football boot, it’s going to be similar to other simple leather boots.

@@Soccerreviewsforyou Unique for me. Light, great leather, great FG soleplate, and great heel lockdown. Use this boots for one month in a real game and you understand ;) This pads in leather makes great job when you passing/shooting. Extra layer for leather inside foot part is a importent thing in this construction. Nobody like Mizuno/Asics doesn't make this and its big mistake for them. This short zone made of kangaroo leather improves the entire game, passing, shooting, etc. WE NEED THIS in leather football boots 🤙
