First of all, George Floyd was NOT murdered, he died of asphyxiation from a drug overdose while in police custody. The body cam footage shows this very clearly. George Floyd was the Left's Horst Wessel. I don't know if I fully agree with the aesthetic aspect of how people choose politicians. Even if you just limit it down to the left, even if you only limit the dichotomy between Obama and Trump, because Obama is not objectively handsome either. If we use the theory of aesthetics, then Romney should have beaten Obama in 2012. I really comes down to dialectal materialism, which is one of the main underpinnings of Marxism itself. It's not even about the man, whether we are talking about Trudeau in Canada, or Obama, Clinton, etc.. It's about 'our side is always right, and the ends always justify the means.' It's collectivism over the individual.

Obamas aesthetic was his skin colour, just as Kamala’s aesthetic was not her stunning beauty, but her sex. When progressives tried to say that Kamala Harris lost because of misogyny, ask him/her/they “So if the candidates were a Democrat man and Marjorie Taylor Greene, surely you’d vote for the woman?” It’s funny to see how they deal with their rational and values when you hold a mirror to their face.

@@victorsimpson4487 Unfortunately, it wasn't just Ben. Gad should have corrected him on that point regarding George Floyd. It's one thing to be arguing within that narrative if this was May of 2020 when all we pretty much had available was that picture from that cell phone, which itself was highly suspect.
