I decided to do this video to help social workers prepare for interviews based on what I learnt in my more than 15 years of working in health and social care. I am currently a child protection social worker; I love my job and wouldn’t change it for any other job.
I recently assisted a leading social care agency in the UK with recruiting international social workers for local authorities in the UK. 90 percent of the candidates that I prepared were successful in their interview. These are social worker who have very limited knowledge about social work practice in the UK. They smashed their interviews and got jobs based on my preparation. This video covers the likely questions in social work interviews. Any social worker whether UK or international would benefit from watching this video.
