Awesome video! Do ad sets compete against each other if you duplicate at the ad set level to test creative or is this ok for testing?
@AndreaVahl3 жыл бұрын
@@brunolupo5883 Yes they technically would but typically you aren't spending a LOT in the testing phase so I don't worry about it too much. Hope that helps!

@@AndreaVahl Awesome, thank you. Currently testing at €10 per day (ABO) x 5 ad sets. Is there a maximum amount of adsets you can put in a campaign or could I put 10 ad sets here to test?
@AndreaVahl3 жыл бұрын
@@brunolupo5883 Yes you can put them all in the same campaign as long as they are ABO. I like to do that to keep it cleaner.

Hi lovely , Thank you so much for always sharing valuable content. I have a question. When should one use A/B testing, and how is it different from running two individual campaign. I feel A/ B testing can be a little biased as it judges the winner campaign based on cost per result. When I want to test two audience variable, I usually run two independent campaigns and manually pause the less performing campaign in the long run. I have actually seen better and more genuine result in running two independent campaign than conducting A/ b testing. I would like to know your preview of this. what I might be missing on testing very setting two independent campaign of a different audience.

Hi great video! You mentioned to have about 3-5 audience, with the same ad, with same image and text. How do you test these 3-5 audience via split-testing? Or do you mean to just set it up normally without using a/b tool? The ones you've shown seem to only be able to test 1 vs 1. Please help, thanks!

Hey, for startup users who do not have saved audience .. what's the alternatives to do split testin
@SocialMediaExaminer3 жыл бұрын
I'd start by creating a few cold audiences using this method: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iWXMdGOFlseIoas Once you have those, you can start split testing. If you have a small budget we recommend using the method we showed in the video (here is another walkthrough:kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqLJeJppl9GNqsk), but if you have a larger budget, you can use Facebook's built-in A/B tool. Best of luck! -Mitch

When you test ads and duplicate at the ad level i.e. you have the two ads you want to test in the same ad set, the ads dont get allocated the same budget. How would you then detetmine which ads performs better?

You have to reach the right people with the right message and the right ad. Creating A/B test ads can help show you which ads are the most successful for your business, this is based on click through rate to your website and other factors. Facebook by default increases the number of variables put into the program, by default they instagram is also selected when you create a facebook ad, automatic placement should be off/ if you dont want it in your test. Too many variables will lead to an innaccurate test for your ad.

Every time I try to edit after duplicating an ad set it changes the original ad set I duplicated, which defeats the purpose of what I was trying to do. This doesn't seem like a bug since Facebook gives me a notification telling me it's changing the original ad set to reflect the new changes. I used to do this method years ago and have been watching videos to brush up. I'd break things way down into 5 age demos, split into male and female, and each of those with at least 5 separate images/ads. Made a world of difference. Need to get back to that. Suggestions?

Ok so i have one question here, Usually the main reason for A/B Split test is due to overlap of audience .....When u select Split test on FB u budget is been split between the 2 ads and the audience are not overlapped ! But as i can see u r method of SPLIT TEST ! u just duplicated the Campaign ! So did u changed the Budget of both the campaign and set it up manually ? and what about audience overlap ?
